Today, a friend and I saw some deer outside my car. Since we were both leaving for college the next day we wanted to do something memorable so we decided to chase the deer. Turns out the deer wanted to chase us too. We ran for over five minutes screaming. FML

Today, while driving home I saw a few deer running beside me. I stopped to let them go in front. Instead, one face-plants, ramming into the side of my new car. FML
Today, after recently moving to America as I've always dreamt of, I saw my first, majestic deer. My boyfriend slammed it with the rental car. FML
Today, while hiking in the mountains in North Carolina, I finally got to the deer I had been tracking for almost an hour. I was watching it from about 10 feet away, and enjoying every moment. Within a few seconds, my niece yelled from across the river to ask if I had found it. It ran away. FML
Today, I bought a new car. Twenty-five minutes into driving it home, I hit a deer. FML
Today, I hit a deer. The worst part? Papa deer saw me hit mama deer, and proceded to ram into my car. FML
Today, I was on a drive with my uncle. We saw a dead deer on the side of the road and expressed our pity for it. Then a squirrel runs across the road and my uncle swerves toward the squirrel, laughing hysterically and yelling, "Run rodent run." FML
Today, I volunteered to go get ice cream if I could use my mother's car. She told me to be VERY careful. Not ten minutes later, I hit a deer, which got up and walked off as though nothing had happened. FML
Today, an adorable deer got into the yard, so I went to pet it. It jumped on its back legs and started flailing its front legs around, kicking the crap out of me until I curled into a ball crying. I'm so bruised, I can barely sit down. FML
Today, I was driving home with my girlfriend. As we turned onto our block, she shrieked that our dog was running down the street and into traffic. I jumped out of the moving car and chased him for about a mile, only to give up, go home, and find out it wasn't our dog. FML
Today, I hit a deer with a rental car... which I had to rent because I hit a deer with my car last week. FML

I don't know about deer, but a human can outrun a horse if both have to zigzag rather than run a straight line. A slalom course may have been involved for all we know.

That may be true, but a horse is much larger than a deer. Deer are quite agile and swift.

The relationship of weight to speed is not linear lol. My roommate is 160 and I am 140 and he is faster than me. Mainly because he's been training with our high school Alma Mater's track team as a coach and I haven't really trained lately. Kind of like a quarter horse or thorough bred is much faster than a smaaller pony.

Last time I was involved in a confrontation with a deer, it ended up with a 12 gauge slug to the face. Then, to really add insult to injury, I ate him.
