Today, after a supervisor, who is a Donald Trump fanatic, kept pestering us with the subject, I decided to debate with him, never swearing or disrespecting him at all. I was fired, presumably for disrespecting a supervisor. FML

Today, I was fired because I spoke up about a supervisor mistreating me. The assistant VP spent the meeting demeaning me to “teach me a lesson” and then said she was firing me because I “stirred the pot." Man, I really loved that job but I won’t miss the toxic work culture. FML
Today, I got fired from my job. A coworker that strongly dislikes me convinced my boss I took a day off because I was going to a Trump rally. FML
Today, my boss fired me because I corrected him after he misspoke during a meeting. FML

Today, I got fired from my job because my boss thinks that me doing everything he says makes me untrustworthy. FML
Today, I got in an argument with my boss and I dared him to fire me because he has always said he couldn’t run the shop without me. Turns out he was just being nice all this time, my job could in fact be done by his 14 year-old niece with no training in two thirds the time. Yes, he fired me. FML
Today, I was given my marching orders because I corrected my supervisor on something he was actually doing wrong. It seems I deserve this for "not learning to obey my immediate superiors." FML
Today, I was fired for following my supervisor's directions. That is to say, I was told to take away contacts from our team to avoid metric drops. The client caught us both, and my supervisor simply threw me under the bus. FML
Today, my boss fired me by locking me out of my workplace after I went out to throw out the trash. FML
Today, I assisted a customer at work. She was asking me all sorts of stupid questions and acting like an entitled, spoiled brat. When she left, since I had a mask on, I meant to mouth, "Stupid bitch" but I blurted it out loud. Everyone heard. I was fired. FML

Politics and work are a delicate mix. With a Trump supporter, you're risking it all.

Trump is pretty lame, but doesn't seem like a firing offence. Avoid politics in the workplace.

No matter how chill your work group is politics can make people explode. I've had to break up altercations on both sides.

I've been fired from some places for some pretty dumb reasons. Allow yourself to feel your true emotions, and have peace knowing that you don't cling to the same old relics of the past like your former supervisor. It does seem unfair that they are still there and you're not, but look on the brightside, you both have the same President

Do you see the world we are living in today? Unfortunately, there are topics that send people into a frenzy. Politics, Law Enforcement, Laws.. I could go on. Just about anything sends people to the edge. I do not feel that you should of been fired. That was absolutely abuse of power. Not to mention..huge ego.
