As a young man you have to be prepared to meet parents and know that they're not always going to make it easy for you. It's hard for a dad to accept that his little girl is grown, and it doesn't help if her boyfriend's a wimp.

Hey OP, when my father met my bf he said to him "Get out now while you can. She is as evil as her mother, down the road I will say that I told you so." Needless to say, we have been for 7 years now :-)
