Where'd you go?
Today, my cat came through my window, holding a dead rat in her mouth and dropped it in my pile of clothes. I then asked my dad if he could get the dead rat out of my room. After looking for an hour, he couldn't find it. Guess the rat wasn't dead after all. FML

LET ME IN!
Today, my cat somehow managed to lock me out of my apartment by jumping on the doorknob while I was taking the trash out. I had to call a locksmith, and now it's like my cat won't even come near at me, like I betrayed him for allowing a stranger into our home. FML

Today, our rodent problem was taken care of. I discovered this when my cat projectile-vomited a soggy, death-scented wad of dark fur and tiny organs onto the couch. FML

Today, my cat brought home a bloody, barely-living mouse. The thing managed to escape and dragged itself into a crack in the wall, where it must have died. The only way to get it out before it starts to stink up the place is by demolishing the wall. FML

Today, I was laying in bed when my sister came running in, scared. I took my bat and went into the kitchen where the suspicious noise was coming from. It was a rat, right in the middle of the floor. I jumped on the counter and shrieked, just as my girlfriend walked in, who then actually dealt with it. FML

Today, I found out that both of my cats are afraid of mice. So far I've seen them run and hide from 3 different mice who've recently invaded my apartment. FML

You might want to hurry and find it! My cat did the same exact thing, granted it was a mouse & not a rat, and the mouse lived inside for about a week. It used dryer lint to make a nest type thing in a cupcake pan. It was eating the dog & cat food. We would see things move in the corner of our eye and thought we were going crazy. It even made the cliche hole in the wall under the kitchen cabinets by somehow moving the wood slat over. After that week, we found it dead because our kitty killed it.

On one hand, a rat running loose in the house is unsanitary. On the other, your cat thinks you are ready to graduate from them bringing you pre-dead animals to eat, to them bringing you live ones to practice your killing on. Which means they are pleased with you!

Actually, when a cat brought a rat for you, it's a sign of them worshipping you. That's what they do with Pharaohs looooong time ago.
