Today, after constant avoidance, I saw the man who slept with my mother and caused my parents to get divorced. I desperately wanted to punch him in the face, but instead I had to smile and shake his hand as he gave me my diploma. FML

I hate to be 'that person' but I'd be more angry at your mum because she's the one who cheated? I mean, she didn't have to do that.

you don't know the whole story about your parents life, they may have had more problems before that incident, sometimes they have more going on than we may know.....I know it sucks to see the guy but your mom wasn't forced to do anything she didn't want to do.

Your mom caused the divorce. She's the one who cheated. Even if he knew she was married it's still more her fault in my opinion.
