Today, after constant avoidance, I saw the man who slept with my mother and caused my parents to get divorced. I desperately wanted to punch him in the face, but instead I had to smile and shake his hand as he gave me my diploma. FML

Your mother slept with this man and cheated on your father, thus she is the reason their marriage broke down. You can not blame this man, he is not the one to break vows to your dad, that was your mum.

honestly FYL OP, but i wouldnt be as mad at the teacher/staff who slept with your mom then id be at my mom herself. For her to beable to embaras you by sleeping with someone you know, and on top of that being unfaithful to your father. Shes the one to be pissed at, dont get me wrong screw that guy who fooles around with your mom too cause i knkw id love to punch him too, but think of it from his side, he had some woman over him can't blame him more then her. But id still deck him. lol

although what he did was wrong he did not cause your parents to divorce if your mother was happy there was no way he could've come between them it was just a matter of time anyways the situation sucks but it's just something you're gonna have to let go and move on from

Your mom chose to cheat. SHE was in a relation, and SHE disregarded the rules of that relationship. She said the vows, not him. He might not even have known she was married at the time. Even if he did, he would still not be guilty of breaking them up, just a bit sleazy. You can't expect everyone else to keep you from breaking your marriage vows and then get pissed at them. I understand that you might not like the guy, but he did not cause anything. Your mom did.
