Today, during an otherwise promising job interview, I was asked how much I thought was too much for a "good hit of blow". I must have stayed speechless for too long, because the guy's next words were, "Yeah, you're not cut out for this." I'm shocked and baffled too. FML

Today, I went to an important job interview, only to be told I'm not what such a "prestigious" company was looking for. This from a pimply-faced 20-something who took a personal call on speakerphone mid-interview, and actually said "LMAO" out loud at his friend's joke. FML
Today, I went to a job interview. It was my last shot of getting a job before my savings run dry. It all went well until I was asked why I wanted to join the company. I got flustered and stuttered, "Because I um, I like money?" The guy gave me the most insincere "We'll be in touch." ever. FML

Trying to sound thoughtful, I asked, "What do employees dislike most about working here?" The recruiter laughed and said, "That's a unique way to phrase that." I spent the rest of the interview wondering why my brain chose violence at the worst possible moment. FML

I meant to say, "I felt it was time for a new challenge," but instead I said, "I felt tired of pretending to care." The look on their face was priceless. Needless to say, but I don't think I'll get the job. FML

Today, I went to a big job interview. As I walked in, I tripped and fell flat on my face. Other highlights include my voice cracking multiple times, sweating profusely and getting uncontrollable nervous giggling. The interviewer eventually stared at me in disbelief and asked if I was high. FML

That guy sounds like a chronically stupid dope. I hope you got up and blew that joint with the greatest speed. Obviously his meth-od of interviewing was terrible, and the job is probably not all it was cracked up to be. Go make yourself a pot of tea, or have a diet Coke, and forget the whole thing.

It's one of those shock questions some interviewers seem to think it's clever to spring on people. It was basically to judge how well you handle a difficult/shocking situation - to see whether you got flustered easily or if you could keep a level head. That said, weirdest question ever.

Even if that's the case, it's probably a lose-lose situation. Any kind of non answer, or something like "I dunno" would show that OP can't respond quickly/ appropriately to a shocking situation. and if OP had been able to respond with some kind of legitimate answer, the interviewer would probably assume they do drugs and not hire them based on that.
