Today, I wrote to the guy whom I am in love with to tell him how I feel about him. He was very calm and told me to give him some time to think it over. Later in the day, I found out he blocked my number and rejected me on Facebook. But, the worst part is he then texted me saying, "This is my reply". FML

Today, I’ve been systematically sharing stories and posts about how love sucks and man-bashing memes so that my crush would regret his decision about rejecting me and choosing another girl over me. He DM’ed me : “Getting tired of your shit Melissa, I’m blocking you.” FML
Today, after months of all my friends telling me that the guy whom I was in love with most definitely held feelings for me, I was finally convinced by their words, and with confidence I went and confessed my feelings to him. I was rejected. FML

Today, I confessed my love to my crush over text. Later, she posted the message I'd sent her on Facebook and wrote "look at the pathetic man". The post had over 50 laugh reacts. FML

His reaction resembles the way one would deal with a stalker. Whether or not it was your intention, chances are you came off as somewhat creepy and/or obsessive. As other posters have pointed out, you can't truly love someone you barely know. I would like to add that it's rather unsettling to get a full-blown confession of love from someone you barely know.

I noticed she didn't even say he was a friend. Just some guy. Great, so this guy you don't really know too well doesn't love you back AND was generally freaked out by you telling you in a long winded note how much you love him. Ok. I had a girl send me a text saying " i love you" and I blocked her off everything I could. Why? I'm in a relationship and her saying that kind of random nonsense was damaging to my relationship. I didn't lead her on. She came out of nowhere. Maybe its the same for this guy. You are a creeper and YDI

I was always scared that might happen, lucky me that it didn't though! But, it does happen. Not really much of an FML either, just a typical rejection these days.
