Today, my mother is mad at me for deleting my Facebook account. I actually deleted the account because I'd had enough of putting up with her criticizing comments on every Facebook post I made. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, some girl's mom gave me a load of abuse for endangering her daughter's health. How? By deleting my Facebook account, which caused her to have a serious panic attack. Apparently she thought we were best friends, and that I was ditching her. I'm confused too. FML
Today, I found out that my mom uses my Facebook account more than I do. FML
Today, my mother hacked my Facebook and broke up with my boyfriend and pretended to be me. She told him if he ever talks to me again, she'll call the cops. FML
Today, I logged onto Facebook and found out that my own mother unfriended me because she didn't want her new boyfriend to know that she had a daughter. FML
Today, my mom made a Facebook status about me: "My daughter is on her rags and won't shut the fuck up #annoyingbitch". FML
Today, I decided to delete my Facebook account. My older sister repeatedly called me in tears asking why I'm cutting her out of my life. It seems I can't get rid of social media without my family taking offence. FML
Today, my mom added me on Facebook. She wrote on my wall, for the whole world to see, "Why are you swearing on the internet?! You're grounded". FML
Today, my mom got mad at me because I wouldn't write to Ellen Degeneres about her. She now won't talk to me. FML
Today, my mom was on my Facebook and saw a chick leave a nasty comment on my status. My mom commented back something awful and really bitchy. My mom still fights my fights for me. I'm 20. FML
Today, several family members, including my mum, deleted me from Facebook in a concerted show of contempt. Apparently, I just can't shut up about World of Warcraft. FML

And now she's criticizing you for leaving the forum where she could criticize you in front of your Meta-friends? Am I surprised? I hope your mom has an FML account so she can criticize your post here.

Toxic Mom! Unfortunately you cannot fix her. You were smart to avoid the issue by shutting down your Facebook account. If you are willing to put in extra effort consider this: If you live at home you could do what some kids do - Have two Facebook accounts. It just takes two email address and don’t use your picture on the hidden profile page (maybe use a picture of something you like or a hobby). Then toxic Mom can have her vanity page where you occasionally post pictures of things she wants to see you doing. And you can have your private Facebook page for your real friends. Just don’t mix the two and don’t friend anyone on both identities - and set your posts as private, only friends see. I’m pretty sure my daughter and one or more of my grandchildren have done this - And to be honest I appreciate the effort.
