Today, I found out my boyfriend of three and a half years is talking to two other women. I’m four months postpartum. Not to mention, he took our child to go see one of his girl best friend's house, when I specifically asked him not to. FML
Today, I found out through Instagram that the guy I'm dating has a wife and two kids. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend is cheating. Not on me but WITH me! This man has a whole wife and two kids that I swear I had no idea about. I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about it. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend of six years has a five year-old daughter. FML
Today, my boyfriend of four years proposed to me and I said yes. A few hours later, I found out he's been talking to multiple other girls for about three months. FML
Today, I found out a 6-month pregnant woman is claiming my boyfriend to be the father. Even though this would have been previous to our relationship, he already has two kids from getting girls pregnant in high school. I guess he didn't learn his lesson the first two times. FML
Today, I found out my son has not one, not two, but three children with various women. I confronted him about this and he truly doesn’t care. He has support payments he hasn’t paid in months, and he doesn’t even know his name of his youngest son, because he doesn’t care enough to remember it. FML
Today, I found out my ex-wife (who I have kids with) is now pregnant with another guy's twin babies. We have only been divorced a couple of months. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me he doesn't think he should marry me, because I have kids. They're his kids. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 3 years sprung the news that he had gotten a new job across the country and would be moving immediately. With his wife and children. First I'm hearing about them. FML

I think the real issue here is how he treats these women and his children. Find out more about how these relationships ended and what kind of terms they're on now. Yeah, this doesn't look good, but it might not be as bad as you think. The law of very large numbers says that three condom failures in three consecutive relationships leading to a child is bound to happen to somebody. If he's on time with child support and makes an effort to be a good dad...you may have a keeper. However, you could also have an asshole who doesn't care about protection and who runs away from responsibility. In which case, get out now.

For all you know, the OP makes a lot of money, so for her it isn't an object. The burden of financial responsibility should be shared, not placed solely on the man.

Wrong. They are not married, therefore they are not legally her kids. Even if they were, they're still not her problem since they're not in her or his custody. The financial burden is all on him as he's the one who chose to **** these women. Granted, what needs to be known is how close in age the kids are, and if any are younger than 2 years (which would signify that he had been cheating). It's not that unusual that someone would have 3 kids to 3 different women if he's an older male, but still. That's pretty bad. That's something you should tell your partner long beforehand..

I guess I was unclear about what I meant. The kids are all his problem (and their mothers'). However, if the OP and the BF are living together or if they end up getting married, then they should share all related financial responsibility.

I left the father of my child a week before the wedding, because I found the paternity test results, while packing my things to leave him after recieving a phone call from his ex - who had 2 kids by him. I knew about one kid, but not about these two. He didn't pay child support for any of them, and never saw 2. There really wasn't any way for me to know until I found that paperwork. Thank god I did, but unfortunately it came too late.
