that's why you go on birth control so that you can use it to safely delay or skip your period. it's part of wedding planning 101.

It likes to come at the worst possible moments. This is going to sound gross but, if you and your new husband want to do the deed, use a female condom. And hey, at least you know your bestfriend is a true friend!

why is everyone saying "you still use PADS???!!!1" who gives a ****. some people don't feel comfortable wearing tampons, I personally ******* hate them and think they're inconvenient, so i use pads and i'm nearly 20.

Tampons............... they're incredibly convenient... 4-8 hours! vs. pads, you feel gross right away

Shouldn't you have known though? Unless you're irregular than I don't understand. You could've planned your wedding to a different week.

Seriously that must really really suck :/ Even though yoru suppose to be happy and greatful for the wedding day...you got PMS and cramps...wow ....I just wouldn't be able to imagine that. I'm soo sorry. :/

Wait... you got your period or you STARTED your period? How old are you?? Urgh, I would never wear a pad with a wedding dress. Tampon FTW.

SOME WOMEN HAVE EFFED-UP CYCLES, OK? My friend with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (a hormone imbalance) didn't have any for 7 months, then two in the same month (she's 22). She went on birth control pills to regulate them, but they gave her a blood clot in her lungs which could have killed her. So, **** her life... and don't have a go at the OP for not planning around her period.

you could have one: started birth control at least a month beforehand and skipped the sugar pills or... wear a tampon. i know it happens, but there's ways to take precautions.

pads? why? tampons are a woman's best friend when she's on her period!
