its called a tampon.. lol
Woooow! I swear, most of you girls are idiots and/or are 12 years old. SHADDUP on 'omg pads are gross wear a tampon, noob.' Just because you like tampons doesn't mean everyone else does. I'm 20 and prefer the pad over a tampon. And the pill, not everyone wants to take artificial methods to avoid their period/pregnancy, which messes up your insides anyway. You still have your period on the pill, anyways. And who the hell plans their wedding around their period?! Your period out of all things? Please tell me now. Who's actually accurate 100% of the time when it comes tracking their period? . . . the only safest way was for her to get pregnant. And sex isn't THAT bad on your period, anyway. And FYL, anyways, OB. Being on your period must of sucked the whole time. At least you married the love of your love and I love your best friend. She's the greatest.
306, you're an asskisser. And seriously. Tampons. Or DivaCups. Putting a tampon in does NOT take your virginity, contrary to what many fundamentalist religions teach (not saying that OP is a fundie, but they tend to spout that line a LOT). And you CAN use a tampon if you're a virgin. Just use a junior tampon. But on the other hand, that does SUCK. Especially in a white dress.
Birth control pills, man. If you take a pill that actually works for you then you actually CAN plan around it, or take two packs in a row or whatever to avoid having your period on a specific day. "Getting pregnant" is not a good option just so you won't have your period on a certain day, getting pregnant means potentially giving birth (unless you have an abortion, obviously), which means you will have a ******* child which would be A LOT worse/more shit to deal with than worrying about a pad on your wedding day. And not everyone wants to get pregnant/have children 5 seconds after they get married btw.
Your husband has a problem with ******* you while you're on the rag? That sucks. FYL
no, no, no, you sound like one of those bridezilla biootches who EXPECTS her bridesmaid to literally wipe her ass just because its your wedding day. Where there is a will there is a way when it come to taking care of your personal hygiene no matter how ridiculous your wedding dress is. Blech, people like you make me so mad.
i feel bad for ur friend

that's why you go on birth control so that you can use it to safely delay or skip your period. it's part of wedding planning 101.
It likes to come at the worst possible moments. This is going to sound gross but, if you and your new husband want to do the deed, use a female condom. And hey, at least you know your bestfriend is a true friend!
