tbh what would you rather have your friend do... change a simple quick and easy pad? or change a tampon? yea i kow what id rather too? some people dont actually think before they make stupid comments.
agreed. :) that sucks!!
I feel way more sympathy for her than you
oooh, I'm sorry :( that would suck. And to those of you saying that it's her fault for "not planning better" then seriously, you need to shut up. Honestly, I never know when my period's gonna hit. Lots of women have irregular periods, and some don't use the pill. It's a personal choice. I choose not to use the pill, and i never know when my period's coming. So seriously, try to be a little more understanding. Hope the honeymoon goes well, minus that :)
There are steps that women can take to prevent their period from ruining their wedding night/honeymoon. Go to your doctor & ask for the contraceptive injection - it stops periods for around 8-12 weeks, I think. Alternatively, you could try the contraceptive implant. It lasts for about three years, & two thirds of women will have very light periods, or no periods at all. Some women may experience breakthrough bleeding or spotting, but this is no big deal, & a pantyliner can easily handle it. Either way, it shouldn't affect sex like a full-blown period would. OP, FYL because your period's turned up uninvited & is going to spoil your wedding night. However, YDI a little for not planning ahead & looking into adequate methods of prevention.
omg that is a REALLY good friend lol
how nice of her! be thankful you have a friend like that

that's why you go on birth control so that you can use it to safely delay or skip your period. it's part of wedding planning 101.
It likes to come at the worst possible moments. This is going to sound gross but, if you and your new husband want to do the deed, use a female condom. And hey, at least you know your bestfriend is a true friend!
