Today, I went to a theater and saw "Bruno" with my mom. We saw "Borat" together, so I thought, 'Hey, how bad could it be?' I don't know what was more nauseating: Bruno's penis spinning around and talking or the fact that my mom thought it was hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. FML

What? I saw that with my dad. We both loved it. hilarious

haha, akward. thats the kind of movie you see with your dad, brother, uncle, friends, etc.

Not necessarily. My mom and I loved it, but if I had taken my dad or brother to see it they would have left within the first few minutes. It just depends on how uptight the person you go with is, not their gender.

So? What was the problem? Your mom loved it. Your own fault anyway. That movie only appeal to a certain audience.

HEY! HOW ABOUT A SPOILER WARNING DUDE?!

Wow. YDI. Ever heard of IMDb? Or any movie database site like kids-in-mind? You can check these sites to see how bad the movie is so you will know what to expect and who you would want to see it with.

I can see why this is an FML; the whole situation is just awkward and embarrassing. And I don't think YDI. Why would you look up all the spoilers about a movie before you went to see it with someone older than you? But, it could have been worse - at least she thought it was hilarious. My mom probably would have had a long talk with me about every single thing that was wrong with that movie. Not that I've seen it, though. Or want to. I don't wanna sound uptight or anything, but I honestly don't think the movie would appeal to me. Anyway, think of it this way: at least you took your mom to a movie and she enjoyed it. That's a good thing, after all.

It must suck to know you're more of a prude than your mom.
