Today, I was fired from a managerial position I've held for two years due to "inappropriate relations with a subordinate": I was dating a coworker. My girlfriend then broke up with me four hours later. Because I no longer had a job. I hired her. FML

#10, learn to read. The story clearly says "I was dating a coworker." How, then, does that mean he never dated a coworker? I don't really understand your logic.

Either way, you deserve it. If you hired her and then you started dating, you should have known better than to date your subordinates. If you were dating her first, and THEN you hired her, you should have known better than to hire her, OR you should have spoken with HR about it so they'd know. Either way, you should have known the consequences of your actions, and if dating her was so important, you shouldn't have been working at the same place. Sorry...can't really sympathize.
