Today, after nearly eight months of unemployment, I started a great new job. After seven and a half hours of work, my new boss comes up to tell me what a great job I was doing, but that he somehow forgot to clear the new hire with the company owner, so I'm fired. Hello, unemployment... again. FML
Are they at least paying for time worked? If not, then you should take this to court and keep your unemployment streak (financially, at least) going a bit longer.
Honestly, I feel for you, OP. It took a friend of mine almost a full year to land a job, so you can get another job (even if it is an interim position) until you get back on your feet and land something you want to do.
In the words of Quagmire, "Well, you could whore yourself out to 1000 chicks for $50 a piece. Or 50 really fat chicks for $1000. What? Don't look at me like that. Fat chicks need love, too, but they gotta pay."
Speak your mind, but please try and be respectful.
