Today, I received an email from my professor informing me that if I missed another class, I'd be dropped from the course. I have field experience to complete tomorrow as part of my major. I emailed her two weeks ago to let her know, and we're excused by the dean. She doesn't care. FML
Today, I've been making extremely good progress in my online class. Or at least… I was, until the deadline to complete it was suddenly pushed a whole month forward, causing me to be "behind." Then my teacher had the nerve to email me, telling me I needed to catch up. FML
Today, one of my classmates asked the teacher to postpone her presentation because she had to study and the teacher happily agreed. When I approached her, the teacher started yelling at me because postponing deadlines is irresponsible. I just wanted to make sure we didn't need to bring our book. FML
Today, my Computer Science professor posted an assignment that's due right before our Monday class… on Monday morning. I wouldn't have even thought to check for assignments this morning if he hadn't done the same thing last week. FML
Today, I was warned that I was failing too many students and it had to stop, so I showed my boss all of the easy assignments a lot of students didn't even turn in. She told me to stop using so many "big words" in them. I teach at a four year University. FML
Today, I asked my professor what happened to the assignment I gave him several weeks ago. Turns out he lost it, and graded me zero as a result. Now if I want a mark, he says I'll have to hand-write it all over again, but that I "probably shouldn't bother," because it was "a bit shit, really." FML
Today, my teacher called a friend and me out of class and told us we had been reported for plagiarism because our answers to a problem were nearly identical, and he said that I shouldn't have shared my work. This for an assignment where significant marks were awarded for collaborating with peers. FML
Today, I got the best grade in class on my economics midterm. Rather than tell me I did a good job, my professor criticized me in front of everyone about how I was working "too hard". FML
Today, I went to college, where I'm studying for my dream job. Despite getting up at 5am to catch the earliest bus into town, I arrived ten minutes late. My professor knows my circumstances, but is still threatening to kick me off the course if I don't "arrive on time like everyone else." FML
Today, one of my UNIVERSITY students submitted an incomplete assignment file to the online learning platform. I emailed him, "You will need to send me the correct file via email, as the system does not accept resubmissions." I literally got as a reply, "So, what do I need to do?" Online teaching is hell. FML

Perhaps the other students should pick up their game, get their thumbs out of their arses and be productive in a timely and efficient manner? [Wow, parent mode on! lol] Initiative, organization, planning, self discipline and elbow grease are some of the skills needed if you want to be a high academic achiever and push the scholastic boundaries so you can be all you can be. One does not get far resting on ones' laurels.

When I was a kid and didn't know the meaning of something, I would ask my mum who would tell me to look it up for myself. And we didn't have computers or smart phones to get the answer in an instant. There was a book called a dictionary & it had the information I needed to learn the meaning or spelling of something without having to worry if it was from a reliable source or edited by some punk with a computer. Seek and ye shall find.

In my experience, people who can't do the work study their asses off to try- usually some of the best people ever. The assholes who don't turn shit in is because they'd rather play Xbox or see their girlfriends, not because they can't do it.

When I started college my advisor said I would be ready for the calculus program even though I had only taken precalculus in high school. The first assignment my professor started with, "If you're in this class you should already know..." And listed off 15 things with only one I had ever even heard of. I was at least 15 classes behind the first week. Sooooo... Needless to say I dropped that class.

Well, luckily you live your own life, achieving your own goals, and you shouldn't have to worry about the achievements of your fellow students. Professors should encourage their students, not hold them back!
