Today, I was being interviewed for an amazing job when I was asked what animal I would describe myself as. Trying to be prompt, I picked the first thing that came to me. I responded with, "I'd be a turtle because I'm really slow sometimes." FML

I would have gone with panda, so that they know you're not racist.

I dunno man.. Lions ARE king of the jungle...

Id go jackal or hyena, because you're best in packs and you communicate well with others, plus lion and tiger are just too mainstream for my hipster @$$

Hummingbird. They're the helicopters of the bird world.

That's common enough that you should have had an answer ready for that one. Or, tell them you don't want to work at a place where they waste your time asking meaningless questions.

I know I'd say: "What animal do you think this company is? I think it's a parrot who's been living with a meth addict, it says a lot of shit to scare people like me away instead of asking valuable questions." Way more hardcore and insulting.

Yeah... that'll definitely get you the job.

You're right, I should have an answer ready, too, but I can't think of anything.

Hey, humans are animals too! That'd show you're quick on your feet and clever! Or a smartass. On second thought, just go with number one. Tiger all the way!

"Oh Im like a shy little Pussy Cat.*blush*" Sure selection.

I'm like a cat -- because I sleep 18 hours a day.

Apparently it's pretty common to come up with turtles right off the bat. Just look at the "I like turtles" kid.

A platypus, because you don't really fit in anywhere but you just keep trying.

Plus they are the only poisonous mammal.

29 - Aren't Slow Loris' poisonous?

They are all kinds of weird. Beaver body, duck bill, lays eggs, poisonous spurs on their feet... They're pretty sweet little dudes. Additionally, they occasionally lead a double life in which they are a highly trained secret agent/family pet.

@29, wrong. Shrews and moles are poisonous also. Lorises aren't really poisonous though, some things are just allergic to them. Their "venom" is about like a cat according to wikipedia.

Slow lorises and other members of lorisoidea have poisonous saliva. They lick their babies before they leave to get food so no predators will eat their babies while they're gone.

ApollosMyth 22

61, I thought it wasn't their saliva that was actually poisonous, but they licked the poison from their elbows to mix with their saliva?
