At McDonalds, we have a hiring to win program. it's the online application. There's so many people wanting a job that if you score anything less than green, you won't even get the interview.

They don't just accept anyone anymore, I was getting told by someonethat you need your 5 A*-Cs and possibly AS/A levels to get in >.<

Believe it or not McDonald's is a great first job, or job in general. I've been working there for 3 years, since i was 14 1/2 years old, and its been great! The company offers many job opportunities, not just maintenance and grill work.

47, if people aren't spending money how can the economy possibly be good? The economy is driven on money exchange. Whether or not it was bad to start with is up for debate, but right now, BECAUSE NO ONE IS SPENDING MONEY, the economy is in the toilet.

@#80 Yes...and your logic comes from where? Out of your ass apparently. How would you know anything about said things unless you've worked at McDonalds? I've worked there since I was 15, and I'm now 19, and I realize it's probably uncouth to say this here, but I'm still a virgin. And the ONLY reason I am is because I don't feel the appeal of whoring myself out. Opening my legs for whoever walks in my direction would be borish and vulgar. So I take EXTREME offense to the load of bull you posted here. I go to college, and I've seen a far higher ratio of students there who ***** themselves out than I've ever seen who work with me. As a matter of fact the majority of them are married or happily with someone. Maybe you should think about what you say and learn about the facts before opening your mouth. The only reason you said anything is because you are jealous you couldn't get a job at somewhere concidered to be a "dead-end job". You feel the need to say such horrid things which make me wonder about your honor anyway, because you realize you're not good enough. If that raises your self-esteem then you are a sad excuse for a human being. You most likely didn't get in because of the behavior you so proudly display here. Frankly people like you disgust me. I would love to see many of the people who act like you even try to do what I'm asked to do everyday. But....there will always be people like you, who think working at McDonalds is a piece of cake. News flash...you most likely couldn't do it. Most likely couldn't handle it. You'd be one of the many people who quit after their first rush, or first bus that the rest of us laugh at, because we know, we'll be better prepared for life, and it's stress...while those like you will go through life thinking "Why is life so hard?" I'm not here to sing McDonalds praises, or any such thing...personally, I do like my job, but it's just a first job until I'm out of college. Just to pay bills. But to have someone spit nonsense about something they themselves said they knew nothing about in saying that they were rejected infuriates me. And for the record, I'm double majoring in Psychology and Graphic design, and minoring in Japanese. Just so you have no real ground to come at me with anything because guess what? I'm working at McDonalds now...but my job opportunities once I finish college are going to huge. People like you need to shut your flapping mouths. Nobody really wants to hear your nonsense. They might if you actually knew what the hell you were talking about. But you don't...so go troll elsewhere.
