you pay after you pump where your from?
I'm going to make a wild guess; but New Zealand (Hawke's Bay) maybe?
You mean where "are" you from?
I believe the comment says the man is from New Zealand (Hawke's Bay)...
I say that next time check before you purchase, I always verify my cash before getting gas. I pay after it's pumped.
#5 - On 10/21/2009 at 10:16am by Jcat
We pay after we've put the petrol in our car in Australia, unless it's late at night
what the heck does he drive?
I don't think they were asking where the OP is from, I believe they meant to say "you pay after you pump where you ARE from?"
How can you pay before you pump if you're filling your tank? You wouldn't know how much it's going to cost.
You just have to guess. Usually half a tank will cost me approximately $15, so once you figure out how big your tank is it's not too hard to estimate how much you'll pay to fill it up.
I usually pay for gas with my debit card though, so I don't have to worry about going back for change or paying again if it isn't enough.
The OP is from New Zealand. One New Zealand dollar does not equal one US dollar.
If you pay by cash, you insert more than you think you need (or less if you can't afford to) and get the change from the cashier after. If you pay by card, you swipe your card and then pump gas. I've never seen a station where you paid afterwards, not in California anyway.
That sucks, but damn that's expensive for gas. You should get a prius.
the NZ dollar is worth significantly less than the US dollar, so more dollars for petrol there.
I'm from Australia, I've been to California once, and although I knew how many litres is in one gallon, I had no idea how many gallons of petrol our hire car took, and how to work out how much money the appropriate amount of gallons would be needed, so my first guess was a bit off but we at least had enough to get around for a day!!!
I have never paid before I pumped. Where are YOU all from!?
Obviously not from where I am lol
But, there are pumps with the option to pay before. Usually the pump stops when you hit the amount (say, you paid 15$, so the pump would stop automatically when it tallied to 15$... in merely requires basic estimation skills and for you to know your car)
@OP: This is why I always check that I have money before I do anything.
@ #137: I live in BC, Canada and in Feb08 a new law was passed where you must pay first then pump no matter the time of day (before I think it was just after dark). This happened because of a young gas station attendant that tried to stop a drive-off customer and ended up getting run over by the car and dragged down the street to his death.
You can either pay before or after in the U.S.!! I've seen it done both ways where I'm from; some gas stations make you pay before with cash to prevent people from stealing. Others don't care as much.
OP: That sucks for you! Find whoever 'borrowed' that from you and, er, pay them back. With your fist.
The gas slows and stops when it gets to the prepaid amount. FAIL!
I am from New Zealand and we always pay for petrol afterwards. Not everybody in the world is from America, seriously.
... Why was my comment rated down?
"Where are you from? Obviously not from where I am!" I just answered my own "rhetorical" question. I wasn't trying to be a bitch. In fact, jeeee, I seemed to also mention that you can pay before around here too.
Dude... shit goddamn I'm from BC too, I completely forgot about that. Way to depress the shit outta me, I remember I was just starting to drive when that happened and it messed with my head big time. :/
I don't even pump my own gas at all. Yeah, New Jersey!!
in response to several comments on here: yes we pay after we pump, unless it's at night. no NZers don't usually say gas, we say petrol, but I've noticed some people say things more like Americans... their shows kinda dominate our tv, plus movies, so I guess that has an influence. $100 is NZD so with $1.60 per litre for petrol (not sure what that converts to in gallons - we don't use that measurement) it could easily cost $100 to fill a car... mine costs about $90 and its only a 1995 1800cc Honda Accord - imagine what a V6 or V8 would cost? and groceries... depends on what you like! if i bought budget stuff it would be about $50 per week, but I spend $70ish... so the OPs friendly thief could have expensive taste or be buying for more than one!! so no this is not a fake FML! why doesn't everyone concentrate more on the actual FML instead of playing misinformed minor detective?!!
You give them however much money and tell them what pump you're at and the pump stops automatically when that amount is reached.
$100 to fill up your tank? Wow.
NZ$1≈US$1...sorry I had to
"borrow" some money back from them
100 bucks for food? what do they eat man
It's $100 AUD. Not $100 USD.
100 US$ = 108.412836 Australian dollars
I love the exchange rate at the moment :D Guess the GFC has to have some sort of upside haha
food costs 100 bucks here for two people for two weeks, and that's only if you don't eat very much and skip a few meals.
It's NZD not AUD
#87 - On 10/21/2009 at 2:42pm by iFellytone
Exchange rate is approx 1USD = 0.75NZD at the moment. So what, it'd be like US$133?
#116 - On 10/21/2009 at 6:17pm by nzl
Whoops that's 1NZD = 0.75USD... so around US$75
#117 - On 10/21/2009 at 6:20pm by nzl
it's great isn't it!!! pity it wasn't like this when I went to the USA earlier this year!! I only got US75c to the dollar, not 92!!!! but flights were cheap as.
I've always been so scared of that happening to me! I would have no idea what to do... maybe just stand there and cry or beg money off other drivers haha
Maybe they dont have a credit card or a Bank account..when can you get your driver's license in NZ btw?

FIRST!!
and besides don't you pay first then pump gas?
complete fail at being first :)
you pay after you tank up in everywhere i have heard of, as you wouldnt know how much to pay otherwise!
In most places in the US you pay before you pump. Then they measure out how much you payed for and only give you that much. That way people don't just fill up and drive away.
I'm used to always paying after, but then again I live in NJ. I always wondered how other states did it.
where i live some places you have to pay first, others you don't. when you do, they give you a receipt, and if it doesn't take that much to fill up your car, they give you the rest of your money back.
You let hobos and beggars have access to your pants? Kiss that Benjamin goodbye..

ydi for having a car that needs 100$ for a full tank. Reduce Reuse Recycle! stop killing the earth with your inefficient vehicle.
#12 - On 10/21/2009 at 10:31am by srak
Agreed. However, not everyone is in the financial position to go out and purchase a newer, more efficient car right now.
Invest in a bicycle.
First of all, NZ$100 = US$75. Second of all, nothing in the fml indicates the efficiency of the vehicle so we don't know how often he fills up his tank.
New Zealand uses dollars? also he could have had a larger fuel tank installed so he'd have to stop for gas less often.
$75 is still a RIDICULOUS amount of money to pay for gas. Unless it's super expensive there. Shit. I spend $25 and it gets me from empty to full!!!
Depends where you're from. In the netherlands, it will cost you that, EASILY, if not more.
The current price for gas in Hawkes Bay, NZ is $1.69 (I'm assuming per liter). That's $6.41 per gallon, which is $4.82 per gallon in US dollars using the current exchange rate. His $100 of gas only bought 15.6 gallons. That's the size of tank a small to mid-size car has. Next time think a bit before saying someone "deserves it for killing the earth with an inefficient car."
my dad used to have to pay that much, and our gas prices aren't that bad compared to other areas. but he had a huge truck :P some people need big trucks though, so yeah.
just because it has a big tank/costs a lot to fill doesn't mean it uses a lot.
petrol is quite a bit cheaper in the USA than in Australia or NZ.
get a lancer, i dont imagine NZ petrol costs much more than AU petrol if any at all, and mine costs 30-40 to fill, and does 600kms to the tank. more if i dont drive up hill to uni every fucking day...not bad...
Damn how'd you get through that one.
#13 - On 10/21/2009 at 10:32am by jw90
mercy - I read that as "homos and beggars" at first.
Like I always say: Beers, Steers, and Queers.
that's awfull. how'd you manage that with the gas station?
#18 - On 10/21/2009 at 10:50am by pitbulllove
it's called a credit card?
Well, no wonder -- your name is George.

Move over. We are married to the same person.
That's always a pleasant little surprise, isn't it? I Now know to always check my wallet for cash when I leave the house.
Gasoline in NZ is around $1.20 (USD) per liter. With the present exchange rate, he put around 15-20 US Gallons in the vehicle.
1. you pay first before pumping or else people can just steal gas.
2. what the hell do you drive? a hummer?! my stepdad's van gets filled with at most $50 of gas.
3. eh your life sucks. big deal.
Most places outside of the US still have pump then pay because they don't have the issue of people driving off without paying.
So... what's the problem? Pay with your debit or credit card, and collect the money later from whoever you let steal your money.
Where are all you pay-before-pumpers from? I live in the USA, and the only time I paid first was when I was paying at the pump. How do you know how much to pay if you pay first? What if you pay too much? too little?
Why go to the register twice? Why not pump, then pay, and have the store not act like you are a criminal?
If you pay too much, you go back and get your change. If you pay too little, you go back in and pay some more. Pretty simple.
I live in Delaware and I've never seen a place where you pump before you pay. The risk of stealing gas is just too high, especially in a time where money is tight and gas is expensive.
Why would you shop at a place treating you like a criminal -- and requiring you to wait in line not once -- but twice? They have security cameras, and filing a gas theft is pretty simple.
I work in a total ghetto. Not only do you pay first, but you pay through a little drawer and the cashier is behind bullet-proof glass. I pay at the pump with debit but try to always to fill up over by where I live, where you don't get stabbed for your cell phone =/
Pump and then pay where I am from, then again, in New Jersey people pump the gas for you. XD
That sounds like...fun?
It's rare (not unheard of, just rare) for people to steal gas where I'm from, so we still have pump then pay.
Oh yeah. The pawn shop across the street was recently hit and it's still surrounded by yellow police tape, so yes, it's pretty fun :] The good part is I get to make a difference somewhere in which differences are needed. It can be a drag but it's also strengthened my Jedi powers. Like, no fear, yo :D
@39
"Why would you shop at a place treating you like a criminal"
...they said all places make you pay first, so unless you wanna walk everywhere, i think this calls for a fairly strong FUCKING DUH.
"They have security cameras, and filing a gas theft is pretty simple"
yeh, that sounds like a blast, spend all your free time claiming theft and losing money. youre fucking bright arent you. or hey you know what else they could do? make you prepay...like many many other places do, and nobody gives a shit if you feel like a criminal, the rest of us arent that fucking stupid.
In the USA, most places either you pay first if you have cash, or if you have a Debit/Credit Card, you swipe it, and fill up your tank until the gas pump automatically shuts off..
I don't know of any gas station that would let you pump the gas BEFORE paying. That's just silly. This is either fake or you live in some ridiculous part of the world.
#38 - On 10/21/2009 at 12:20pm by Wind
Since when is "USA" ridiculous? the OP is from New Zealand, but I can verify that every station I ever paid cash at in the USA allowed pump-the-pay.
What is ridiculous is guessing how much gas you need, and then waiting in line, paying, pumping, then waiting in line again to pay or collect the difference. My time is worth much more than that to me, as is my self respect.
In Jersey the attendents pump the gas first then ask for my method of payment. The only place I've been to where I had to pay first then pump my own gas is NY and PA... but then again I haven't really been outside of the tristate to see how gas stations work elsewhere (:
#58 - On 10/21/2009 at 12:49pm by frigginlicia
In Indiana some places make you pay first, others don't. If you have to pay first, they give you a receipt, and if you don't need all of it they give you your change back, and if you need more, then you have to go in and pay again, and hope you guessed the right amount. It's not uncommon (at least in the USA) to pump before you pay. Way to insult something you know nothing about...good job!
what kind of car do you dribe that it takes you $100 to fill up?
and in my part of iowa we pump before we pay at some places and we pay before we pump at others. it all really depends on the gas station
You put your name, address and car tag # on the back of the note and give that to the cashier w/ a promise to be back with cash ASAP.
Where in Iowa? I have lived here for over 2 decades, and the only time I have ever paid first was when I did a pay-at-pump card-charge -- and that technically is swipe-before-pump, pay-after-pump.
I think just about all of eastern Iowa you pay before you pump.
The quad cities, Iowa city, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, just to name a few.
Not every country in the world is the usa. Where i'm from, you pump, then you pay, otherwise you don't know how much you owe, doh. And it is like this all over europe.
Second, just because gas over there is so ridiculously cheap, doesn't mean we're all that fortunate
eta: this was supposed to be a reply to KayraTan
Well, I live in Spain and here are both systems.
People who say going back twice is ineffective; you pay a quantity and the machines stops when you hit that amount. Yeah, you fill up for usually 80% to avoid having to go back, but it does prevent gas-theft so instead of 4 times a month you'd have to go 5 times a month to a gas station. Big deal.
WRONG.
It's not like that "all over Europe".
Get your facts straight if you're going to try to sound smart.
OK, it works like this:
In places where you pump your OWN gas, you usually pay beforehand if you have CASH. So here in NY, I go to the cashier and say "$20 on pump 2 please." I hand her a 20, they set my pump to $20.00 and I fuel up till it reaches 20 and it stops. If I wish to fill my tank, I use a CARD. You swipe it, it gets all your information, and then you pump however much gas you want. And then when you put the pump back, it charges your card. Sometimes, I even use my card if I don't have any cash! I can even make it go to 10.00 exactly! WOW.
If 20 dollars cash is too MUCH, you go back inside and get your change. Boo hoo, I had to waste 25 seconds getting change :( *tantrum* MY TIME IS SOOO IMPORTANT
If I go to visit friends in New JERSEY, where you are NOT allowed to pump your own gas, you pull up to the pump, and the person comes to you. You say "fill it cash" or "fill it credit" or you can say "20 dollars cash" or "20 dollars credit." They are really good at getting it correct. They pump the gas, and then you give them money.
There are some places where you pump your own gas and then pay, but the problem with that is that people will pump and run.
So maybe OP remembered he had 100 dollars, said "give me 100 dollars on pump x" or "fill it to 100" to the clerk, and then when he pulled out his wallet, PRESTO! No money!!!
Was that really that hard to understand?????

I think you need to calm down :l
except that you're wrong. It doesn't work like that everywhere. In the netherlands, you pull up, pump your own gas, go inside, tell them the pump you're at, and you pay.
Is that really that hard to understand?????
You lost me at "OK".
#71 - On 10/21/2009 at 1:56pm by Triumvirate
Except I said "usually," and then at the end I said "there are some places where you pump then pay." Obviously in the Netherlands and the midwest of the US they are trusting, because most people would pump and run rather than pump and go inside and pay.
Agree, you really need to calm down. But, everyone seems to be assuming that ALL people are criminals, and when given the chance they will pump and run. Not everyone is like that. People pumping and then driving off is really rare where I'm from. We just don't do it. And there are only a few places where there are attendants pumping gas for you, and even then you have to option to save 5 cents and pump yourself. Every place is different.
As mentioned, The US is one of the cheapest places in the world for gas/fuel. $100 to fill a tank on any normal car is definitely the norm.
FIRST!! :D
I don't know I always felt like doing that :p
Anyways... Sucks for you OP hope you get back at them somehow.
#62 - On 10/21/2009 at 1:14pm by bidy60
Netherlands = $7.72 a gallon....
I live in Iowa too... and most places you always pump before you pay. including in all of the surrouning states. i've driven from one side of the country to the other... and the trend is, paying before you pump happens on the east coast and high crime areas only! otherwise, pumping first is very common!
It's common where you are from. I'm from the Midwest and everywhere I go it's pay then pump and I usually fill up in small towns with little crime. Some areas just prefer it that way b/c some people find it to be more convenient and the risk of people not paying is 0% b/c you can't get gas without paying first.
Where in the 'midwest'? I have not seen this in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Kansas, the Dakotas, Missouri, Nebraska, or Wisconsin, ranging from 1 streetlight towns, to Chicago, Twin Cities, Omaha, Des Moines, St. Louis, etc. I have never once needed to go pay before pumping.
I live in Illinois and every single gas pump I've been to (From Chicago all the way out to the farming towns) have been pay before you pump. It's generally how it is done to prevent people from driving off, especially in Chicago, so I'm not quite sure where you've been buying gas in IL :/
#99 - On 10/21/2009 at 3:28pm by JadedLane
I'm from Hawkes Bay! Holla.
And yeah, everywhere in Hawkes Bay you pay after you pump. It's a region of relatively small towns so people are trusting. Usually if you don't have money to pay they trust for you to come back or hold onto your car while you go and get the money. I moved to a bigger city where you have to pre pay, so as someone else said, it's relative to areas with higher crime rates.
And the cost to fill up your car depends on what kind of car you have, obviously. And I think OP has a bit of a gas guzzler... it only costs $40 to fill mine up.
I'm from Iowa too and I've never actually had to pay before I pumped....I always pump my gas and then go inside and pay for it. Maybe us Midwest folk are a bit too trusting. Or maybe everyone else is just paranoid.
I'm Norwegian, and I drive a Toyota Corona 1991, almost 16 gallon fuel tank. (a bit over 60 litres) A complete refuel of the tank will cost me about 700 Norwegian kroner (almost 125 US Dollars). And that price is good. And yes, Norwegians also pump before they pay.
On topic; That really sucks. I feel your pain, my brother borrows money all the time...
#70 - On 10/21/2009 at 1:54pm by tass
Gas is more expensive in Europe because of how you measure it. The price per liter is the same as our price per gallon (roughly)...except a gallon is about 4 liters.
...so its more expensive. we pay 4 times as much. It has nothing to do with "how you measure it", its just more expensive, period.
I want to live where you live. Pump gas first, and afterward...
Drive out of there like a bat out of hell!
yeah, cause there are no camera's whatsoever....Uhm, no. There are camera's everywhere. If you drive away without paying, they will be able to get your license plate and they will track you. How stupid are you?
It was a joke, you uptight bitch.
Pull the stick out and get a sense of humour.
How stupid are you?
Ouch.
#89 - On 10/21/2009 at 2:45pm by iFellytone
Ah, well.
Obviously sarcasm and jokes are lost on her. :/
I'd assume her boyfriend accidentally slipped it in her arse last night, hence the bitchiness that she's unleashing all over this FML, but the massive stick that's wedged up there makes that kind of action impossible.
I don't understand why some people here think that you have to go inside the gas station twice if you pay before pumping. It's not that hard to understand. You go inside, give them the amount of money you're willing to spend on gas, go back to pump what you paid for, and leave. You don't have to go back inside unless you change your mind. IMO it's more effective: YOU CHOOSE what to pay instead of GUESSING how much it's going to cost you.
No, you guess how much it is going to cost. And then if you over guess, you go inside for a refund. If you under guess, you either drive off with a partial tank, or go inside to pay some more. It adds to the guess work, it doesn't reduce it -- and on the *very* rare case you only want to pay a certain amount -- you still only pay that much -- you just don't fill past that amount. Not hard -- and it saves a shit load of time and money not runing back and forth all the time.
Wtf. Thats way too much work. If you want change, you get it the first time around. Not go back inside again.
Maybe they have a truck? But it is true that some places outside the US have way more expencivve gas. Last time I went to England, the price was the same on the sign as in the US...until I realized it was per LITER.
1. Cars vary GREATLY in size of tanks. I have a friend in a Ford ranger who needs 30(US) to fill up and another in an f150 (not to imply all my friends drive trucks xD) whom I know is some where around 100. And to the idiot that said reuse recycle... You put shame to environmentalists everywhere, no need to elaborate.
2.(i replied to this comment to be seen cause this "arguement" thats really people claiming everyone else is wrong because THEIR local gas station is OBVIOUSLY the standard for how gas is pumped. In the US its decided by the gas station itself. Generally city gas stations are pay before due to lack of trust in people who live in cities, while rural stations are the opposite. And the New Jersey thing Makes sense cause NO ONE trust those people to pump their own. (just kidding... Sorta... never been there wouldnt know, thats just the stereotype)
bahahahaha i like your comment
#5 yeah it doesn't give me the location when crowing on my Iphone app.
seems logical to pay after you pump to me. I'm in the US and it's not like that here.
@Ze Americanz: There are places in the United States where you can pay after pumping gas. Every case I have seen has had cameras pointed at said pump, and driving off without paying is not only considered theft, it's also considered a moving violation and comes complete with a revocation or suspension of your license, as well as points in the states that have point systems for their licenses. Minimum fine was $500 last I checked.
For those who wonder how you know how much to pay when you pay first- Most places in my area, I'll go in, hand them 40, tell them I need to fill up on pump X, go out, pump my gas, come in and get change.
Pain in the ass? Maybe. But if I wanted convenience I'd just be scanning my debit card at the pump...
YDI for a) carrying too much cash and b) buying too much gas. Unless you're a farmer, you have no business doing either. Get a bank account, get a credit card, and get a smaller car.
And I'm sure you're perfect with recycling EVERYTHING. i'm so sure you ride a bike almost everywhere unless it's more than an hour's bike ride away. I'm sure you drive the Smart car only when you are going very far away or need to drive in bad conditions. I'm sure you grow your own food or buy food in small amounts and only cook what you need, never ordering out, so as not to wastefully spend so much money and thus helping to drive food costs up and making it hard for poorer people to afford food. you only turn on your lights when you're in that one room and when it's too dark out. you never take longer in the shower than 10 minutes. I'm sure you do, because someone like you would rather change the world themselves, than hang out on FML telling someone they don't need that much gas, right? Not just farmers need big cars/trucks. so do construction workers, or anyone else who needs to lug big equipment. Or people who can't afford a better car. Or people who have a bigger gas tank that just HOLDS MORE gas, but isn't any more wasteful than a small car.

well that couldn't be the case, because they are wasting valuable energy on the computer to be on the internet, which a true environmentalist would not do. unless, of course, this person is using a solar powered computer and has another window opened to blog about saving the world...
Whenever I leave, I always check to see if I have my debit cards and license. I say YDI.

I love how so many Americans seemed shocked that countries on the opposite side of the world operate differently to them. SPENDING $100 ON PETROL? PAYING AFTER YOU PUMP? It's not a big deal lol, I'm sure the OP did have a credit or eftpos card to pay for it, but opening your wallet and seeing $100 missing is definately an FML
I love NZ =]
THANK YOU! some one with common sence.
I'd have wiped my ass with the person's sheets and left a note on the pillowcase that said "Had to borrow your sheets to wipe my ass"
God, what kind of car are YOU driving that it takes $100 to fill up your tank?! A freakin hummer? Jesus Christ. I know it's New Zealand dollars, not U.S. dollars, but either way, that's still a LOT.
YDI for not having a gas efficient car :)
ydi for having a $100 tank
Petrol is about NZ$1.60 a litre at the moment.. US$1.21
:)
oh no
i hate when that happens
wait, that never happened to me
sorry OP
this is so fake...you alway have to pay before you fill your car
Uh... no, not any place near where I live, you pay after filling your car. You're probably from somewhere else.
hey , MAYBE, just maybe, they are not from the same country as you??????
why are you calling it "gas" when you are from New Zealand, not USA???
fake. they make you pay for gas before you fill up or else you could "fill and dash" really easily
Or, you can notice that OP is from New Zealand, where we fill up and then pay unless it's after hours.
in Jamaica, someone who works at the gas station fills your car up for you, and you pay after. this could possibly be true.
this made me laugh really hard, I'm not totally sure why
people, you use a credit
card or debit card! how can anyone pay for gas nowadays with cash anyway? it'd take nothing less than a bank robbery to have that much cash on you!
or a hunnsky (hundred). but still. use plastic.
I just use my debit card at the speedy stop down the road but that's just me I don't like to leave my son in the car alone while I run in to pay so I do it there at the pump but everyone has their own way of doing things.
I love my suv and it loves gas so I'm there quite often that's just the way it is.
question is it really against the law to pump your own gas in NJ? if so why?
oh and not everyone can drive a small car some of us need a real vehichle so we can pull trailers and not get crushed to bits in an accident. how else are yall gonna get your tofu and veggie burgers?
I always pay before i pump. Better safe than sorry.
I think this is fake
1.) I dont think new zealand calls it gas
2.) it doesn't cost that much unless ur driving a HUGE truck
#152 - On 10/22/2009 at 6:44am by sf_killer
not really. 17 gallons equals about 63/64 litres. At $1.60NZD for petrol per litre, you're looking at almost exactly $100. No idea what kind of car the OP had, but you don't need a huge truck. BMW 5 series has 18 gallons in the fuel tank.
I'm sorry but gas is actually cheaper in the U.S. than anywhere else. I live in VA where there is rampant gas theft. And I live in a SMALL city. Are you trying to tell me in foreign countries that gas stations aren't insisting you prepay for your gas?! Gas station owners there must be brain dead. Plus you must be retarded to not look in your wallet b4 you get gas. Prepay or not.
I don't believe for one second that places with higher crime rates have more "pump and run" incidents. I live in a SMALL city in southwest virginia. Rural Area. Ppl take advantage of the fact that we don't have the amount of security that larger city gas stations have. Their security cameras actually feed into a private network with remote access. Whereas small town gas station's security cameras still have tape recordings which are largely ineffective in prosecuting offenders in "pump and run" instances.
the comments on this post prove how dumb americans are.
1. they cannot comprehend that other countries let you pump then pay
2. they cannot comprehend that they are lucky at how low their gas prices are and yes it does cost NZ$1.69 per LITRE not gallon
3. they cannot comprehend that yes we do carry cash sometimes
4. they cannot comprehend that just because the gas tank is large the car is not fuel efficient. I have a 1993 Toyota Camry which is quite fuel efficient yet costs over $100 to fill at current petrol prices, maybe it would be cheaper if I could afford a smaller car but I cant because I'm a student
NZ is great anyway :):)
We can't comprehend all that? Are you sure? How ignorant of you.
And you're a fucking idiot for assuming all Americans can't comprehend it.
Don't call anyone dumb until you get a full lobotomy of your own, #159.
your post proves how many people from other countries are just as arrogant or much more arrogant than many, many americans.
Americans do carry cash, a lot, idiot...and we can comprehend that other countries do too.
that much for a liter is not much more than we were paying a year back...less than in some areas in america
That sounds exactly like something by brother would do
haha :D nice.... so you spent 100$ on gas? what kind of car do you drive?
curiously , who took your money ???
