People say that white people are the racist ones and that they're on the "top". Really, people of color are on the top, they get everything for free from welfare, and now with Obama being president, he's giving even more to them for free, while white people don't get anything. 14 and 19, you don't quite know what you're talking about. I have taken Psychology and Sociology courses and received A's in the classes. Racism against white males is quite possible. A prime example is Canadian University tenure positions. At least 1/2 of the tenure positions at any University or College MUST be held by women, even though women make up 20% of the applicants and white males make up around 60%. The women are practically guaranteed the position even though they may lack qualifications; if all the women have positions and still do not reach 1/2, then racial minorities are picked first (preferably one with a disability - that always looks good), and after ever minority and women has a position, THEN a white male can receive the status. I'm not saying racism doesn't exist both ways, but not every act is racist and many systems are now becoming dead set against whites. Is it today's current population of white males' fault that slavery existed? Or that the Native Americans were killed? Makes sense to blame them for their ancestors faults.

All of those negative things you were putting on the backs of blacks are things that ARE in fact a product of white oppression, at least to some degree. There are so many studies that support this, such as the fact that a majority of businesses will reply to an uneducated whites application over an educated black mans. They also show that the number one indicators of a persons future education and income is their parents education and income. Considering its hardly been a couple of generations since blacks started getting equal rights (which i would argue they still don't fully have) and maybe a generation since real effort to equalize education (which still isn't equal), white oppression is a huge factor in the current socioeconomic status of most blacks. Statistically, more blacks exhibit those things you find negatively, because statistically they are more likely to come from a disadvantaged back ground.
The problem with both of you is that you like to put the burden on the other group.
Okay. Let's break some situations down.
Less qualified Black being hired over a more qualified White (which happens less than white people think) and the White person being upset = NOT RACIST
Black person being cautious about their interaction with a new White person because of past offenses of White people against Blacks = NOT RACIST

It can go both ways, there is no trickle down effect on racism. It is simply that any reverse racism is ignored, kept quiet as it were to keep minorities happy. there are white people that are nothing but trash, and there are black people that are the same who do nothing more than sell drugs and increase crime rates. these are people that can't act in a civilized manner.
then again there are white people who do good with their lives, as well as black people who do good with their lives. and they can actually act civilized, and have a proper vocabulary.
