Today, my older brother and I were teasing our mom about her age. When we jokingly told her it was hard for us to watch our parents get old, she responded by saying "yeah, well, it's hard for me to watch my kids grow up and not have anyone who wants to marry them". FML

You have to be nice to your mom! While my mom was listening, I told my brother that we'd better start taking care of ourselves or people will think we're her brothers, not her sons! That's what a good boy says :)

Btw, I know that you were just jokingly teasing you mom, but you should refrain from such behaviour from now on. Growing old is depressing enough for most women, so there's no need for anyone to rub it in. Even though I'm sure you ment no harm, it was probably a very unpleasant situation for your mom. Be nicer to her - you owe her your entire existance!
