So, it's quite possible that the bouncer in question wasn't on duty the night that her 15 year old sister was there, and only got a name and rough physical description to watch out for. Not unusual.
Secondly, calling and radioing are the same thing in most people's vernacular...
Although, #19 does have a point. The only time I've heard any Englishman call the police the "fuzz" was quoting from Hot Fuzz.
