Today, I learned that you can pierce your balls. However, sitting on a thumbtack is not the best way to find this out. FML

I fail to see how this is possibly a YDI, unless, "Today I was sprinkling tacks around my house, sharp side up. I was also eating a banana, naked. Unwilling to make the journey to the trashcan, I threw the banana skin on the floor, only to slip on it and end up piercing my scrotum."
That's a YDI because the OP's negligent actions directly led to the unpleasant outcome.
This seems like a pretty classic FML, to me: the OP had a nasty accident that was no way his own fault.
Balls. It seems like the best way to do a piercing. You're pierced and there's none of that scary wait for it...
I used to have a friend that would always say, "Always check for the spike before you sit down!" This FML proves him right!
