Today, someone left a note on my car, saying "You're gorgeous. Call me. #######." I called the number and they said they saw me in the store I was in, telling me "You were the ONLY attractive person in there." We decided to meet up. He walks over, I say hi, he says "I think I put my number on the wrong car." FML

I don't think your life is F'ed...you dodged a bullet, that guy sounds like a major douche. Just be glad you were "the wrong person" and didn't get involved in that. It's a good lesson for the next time some random person follows you and puts their number on your car, as a guy (if it were the other way around) I would probably just tear the number and drive off, no offense but people like that are single for a reason :/

The moment you said "I called the number", you killed all doubt of that you being a fat, ugly, desperate bitch, thus ruining the FML from the first line. It's also funny for you to believe someone calling you gorgeous if you know you're that ugly. I can only partially relate to this FML, except it was me leaving the note on someones car. And the note wasn't saying "you are really cute, call me 555-5555", it was on the note of some douchebag in a brand new Challenger SRT-8 who parked in 2 handicap spots (no handicap tags, to boot). The note read "I sincerely hope you don't fuck like you park."

But, everyone, meeting someone isn't a date. There are ways to go about it. Clearly the guy is a creeper, and SHOULD have set off red flags for this girl, but she went ahead anyway.
