Today, I got to watch how easy it is to break into my flat, after I locked myself out and went to my neighbour for help. He used a blunt pencil. FML

Just so you know, I live in a council estate so I always figured my neighbour would be able to break in if he wanted. It was just a shocked to see how easy it was. And I can't change the locks with out going through a big pile of paper work and waiting for permission. So much hassle. Any way thanks for the funny comments =)

You might want to invest in some better locks...

Still better than District 9 housing. Don't have to deal with as many aliens where you are, OP.

The first step is knowing there is a problem, now go fix it!

Time to find a new locksmith. Or new neighbors.

He'd be the first one I'd blame if something got stolen from my house.

Time to invest in a couple deadbolts my friend.

Won't help if you're not home...

33, how do deadbolts not work when you're not home. Lock them when you leave, and when you're gone no one can get in. You don't have to keep the deadbolts company for them to work.

33, Deadbolts have their own keyhole on the outside of the door, which means you lock them, along with your other locks, upon leaving and unlock them upon your return, it really is quite simple.

I'd get a sturdy lock fixed quick before anyone else figures this out.

He's either really skilled in this area or you need to change your lock to something more secure. Wouldn't want your next FML to be about a break in now, would you?
