You are warping this kid's outlook on the world! You are fooling him into thinking the world is full of kind, generous people.

If you really wanted to help this kid, you would have taken your place in line before him, asked the cashier a million questions about the food (and the local sports teams), paid in small bills and many coins, and, for good measure, farted in the kid's face. THAT'S what the world is all about.
