I'm not old and I'm not blind. I'm 17 and I rarely speed. I've gone 15 over speed limit on an empty road. sometimes I'll go 10 miles over. but it's very, very rare.
Oh yeah.... officers make fun of that stuff ALL the time in the precinct. You just made someone's day! lol.
And when I was training, I was riding with a senior officer. The girl we pulled over had done the same thing, let down her hair and unbuttoned her shirt. When I walked up to the window and she saw it was a female, she was like "shiiiiit"- her face turned really red and she started fumbling with her license and registration. She was all kinds of thrown off and flustered, because I totally wrecked her whole plan. Cracked me up. My friends and I STILL joke about that one.
And #24- not EVERYONE gets a warning the first time. The first time I ever got pulled over for speeding, I got a ticket. And points on my license. :( And it wasnt Reckless. ugh.

If I have to ask someone higher up than me for something, I'll be friendly, sure, but I'm very conscious of what's appropriate and what's not. Now this is what I logged on for:
Cops gossip more than women/ teenage girls and can be more vicious with that gossip: they embellish. All that sitting around in a car for eight hours means they stock up on stories to tell when they get back to the station.
SO... Pray that you didn't do that inside the town where you live because the other cops will probably keep an eye out for you just for laughs. I know some cops and they live for incidents like this. sucks to be you.
That being said,being nice to the cop would have easily got you out of the ticket with your dignity intact than doing what you did.
I have been in situations where the cop told me he had to give me the ticket AND then told me to appeal it on a certain day when he would be off duty so it can be thrown out because he didn't show up for the hearing.
