Today, I realized the only reason I watched the SuperBowl is because Justin Bieber tweeted about it. I don't even like football. I had no idea what was going on the whole game. All I knew was who I was cheering for, because Justin Bieber tweeted who he was cheering for. FML

While this makes me cringe, and while I think this is completely stupid, it really isn't anything new. Young girls have been "swooning" over heart throbs for decades, Justin Beiber is just the newest face on the scene. Next year it will be someone else. How about in the 50's with James Dean? Or the 70s with David Cassidy? All the girls had to have his posters and know everything about him. Remember when The Beatles landed in America and all the screaming girls were fainting and were so "in love" with Ringo/Paul/John/George? Or how about when Elvis became popular and had throngs of young and old female fans? Look at the modern day with Prince William - girls go crazy over that guy. So I can't say this is anything new, and it isn't a trend that will stop anytime soon. Every young girl has their "fantasy" and eventually they outgrow it - this girl will too.

It has also beat out the fans of hannah montana, and the jonas brothers. And now, this onion ring is setting up to be more popular then Brittany Spears. That should tell you A. How many people dislike these disney channel "stars" and B. How fat we are as a nation for liking an onion ring over these people. It could be a salad, it could be a grilled chicken pad thai, it could be a slice of bread and still be more popular, only it's an onion ring. Now I am hungry.
