ME TOO!!! He never said a thing.
lol at least he didn't say anytin offending
it could have been worst or better... imagine if you used to type "i want to have sex with u ... "
Actually, with earlier versions of MSN, offline messages weren't delivered. You couldn't even talk to someone appearing offline.
#4 - On 03/29/2009 at 4:05am by plethora
If you didn't get a message back saying that the message wasn't sent, it wasn't sent. If you sent it and nothing came back....well..heh, that kinda sucks.
D; That's kind of creepy yo.
Hmm... he stayed friends with you though, yes? He may not have reciprocated but he didn't block or avoid you. That's gotta be worth something surely. Go talk it over with him.

means you're pretty new to msn if you can send offline msgs dont worry about it unless you're a guy writing that to a girl.
any other person can get away with that without shooting themselves in the foot
#9 - On 03/29/2009 at 4:25am by xqme
Ahaha.
Depends when you first got MSN.. Like #4 said, earlier versions didn't let you send offline messages.
Well um... NOW you know? :)
i did this too.
and she was my best friend.
and i went on to say how i wanted to do things sexually
this was when i first go it and a while ago and i cant remember if offline messages existed back then.
she never said anything but....
#13 - On 03/29/2009 at 4:55am by WAY
ahh burnn
#14 - On 03/29/2009 at 5:01am by babez
Wow, that's pathetic and just screams that you spend your Saturday nights sitting alone in front of your computer popping your zits and picking outfits on the internet for your cats to wear.
Please tell us WHEN did you get msn, the suspense is killing me.
It DOES make a difference because before, offline messages didn't get delivered at all.
hahahaha!
wow that sucks.
Aw that's cute, as long as you were in elementary school.
#15 is a jackass
i feel so bad for you, because it sounds like something that would happen to me.
haha thats funny.
i think as she could read the msn history she probz has a newer version where the message got sent.
lol idk
Um, it clearly states at the top "Offline messages will be delivered when they sign in"
depends on the version
either way not an FML..
YDI.
i did like 06-07
when did offline messages start?
#23 - On 03/29/2009 at 5:49am by WAY
That really sucks. But if you guys are still friends after all that then yes, that does say something, even if he doesn't return the sentiment.
Haha, that really sucks. But it definitely could have been worse.
In any case, that really made me laugh, probably because I could see something like that happening to me.
Pretty sure you could have said worse things, not really an epic fail here...
It says so in the top of the msn window.. YDI and you're a freak, grow a pair and say such things directly instead of saying it while thinking it wont be send anyway.
he probably took it as a joke. don't fret.
dude you are creepy as hell!
lmao. at least he still talked to you...
If you truely didn't know then I'm gonna have to dub that as pretty damn creepy.
hahah that's actually really funny. creepy, but funny
#39 - On 03/29/2009 at 10:41am by fmlisamazing
awh thats so cute. it sounds like something I would do. luckily i didn't . lol.
Awwww... how cute =]
and i definitely agree with #20 about #15 being a jackass.......... or as i like to say it....... jack-hole (jackass+asshole)
creeeeeepyyy
just kidding
but that sucks
lol this sounds like something I would do
hahahahhaaahhahahaa
dude that's hilarious.
even though it said "-person's name- appears to be offline. Any messages sent will be received the next time they sign in"? lmao
I don't know how old you are, but when I first started using MSN messages were not delivered if the person was offline.
no offense, but that's pretty creepy. however, if you're still friends with the dude, maybe ask him what's up. maybe you'll find something good happening there.
Why does everyone think this is so creepy? If you ask me, it sounds like something a love-sick middle school girl would do. In fact, my friend used to do this exact thing to the guy she liked in 7th grade, except it wasn't MSN. If the OP was looking back at older conversations, it was from when he/she was younger and maybe didn't know how to express his/her feelings.
This isn't creepy. If, however, he/she went on to describe all the sexual things they wanted to do to the person, THAT would be creepy.
That's an honest mistake. No big deal, I personally think it's kind of cute. I'd be nervous as hell too if I tried telling someone I loved them.
As for the whole sending offline messages. I have a friend who still says Tootles to me when I sign off so that I get the message next time I'm on. He doesn't really care that I don't get it right away, and it doesn't bother me any. Like I said, no big deal.
hahahaha
#53 - On 03/29/2009 at 12:41pm by f_ckerdef_ck
hahaha, hopefully it was an old version of msn so it didnt go through. I believe that all versions before 7.0 couldn't read offline messages, maybe even 7.5
#54 - On 03/29/2009 at 1:05pm by Ivy
i think its a pretty common mistake, right?
i mean, it happened to me.
i dont see why so many ppl are calling OP creepy. he/she didnt think it was sending the messages (and it may or may not have been).
#56, that's what makes it creepy.
I thought it was pretty adorable, which is why I approved this post.. Lulz.
Aww. Come on, like we all didn't do similar things in 7th or 8th grade when we were 'in love' with our crush from math class.
Don't worry, OP, in a few years you probably won't even remember his name. Just hold your head up high. :]
hahahaha me too!!! i used to be like "i love you..." and then i found out, i was like you know i was just messing with you right? i dont actually love you. 3 years later he still doesnt believe me lol ah well
HAHAHAHAHA, sorry but did u see him ever in person...
#63 - On 03/29/2009 at 2:10pm by naku
How does this merit FML?
#64 - On 03/29/2009 at 2:17pm by SPQR
how do you go through your old conversations?
So what? They're old conversations. Not an FML.
Oh man I lol'd majorly. And unless the OP's a middle schooler or younger, I think this is pretty creepy. If i was on the receiving end, I'd definitely be pretty disturbed.
Hahaha win .
xoxo,
Kate :]
that's cute haha.
probably weird for him. lol but still cute =)
wasn't this already posted ? ? ?
#71 - On 03/29/2009 at 3:07pm by sucks000iloveyou
How is this creepy? Sorry, but I thought it was hilarious and really cute actually.
ahaha ,# 15 is a total win. mean, but still funny.
but really thats sad. its okay; people do stuff like that, your not a total dumbass just a little stupid.
#15, no it makes her sound like a teenager. This is just writing initials in a heart all over your notebook for the digital age.
LAWL FAIL. At least you didn't put 'I WANT YOUR BABIES!!!!11'. Then I would have lol'ed out loud.
- S.
#9, That's one of the things that sucks about being a guy. That particular double standard is totally not fair.
To everybody else, Why is this creepy?
If you take #57's logic, then everybody who keeps a diary is creepy b/c they are writing things about other people that are not intended to be read by them.
And if the messages were delivered then is just one person confessing their crush, and the crush made no indication they were uncomfortable with this. Two people flirting with each other, how is that creepy?
why would you even do that? i'd be so scared there'd be a glitch in the system and it would accidentally sent or something.
oh wow...hes like jeez! but he still kept talking to you which accounts for something right?
that's.. not creepy at all.
Well, if he has never said anything about it...just pretend that it neveeeer happened.
omg i couldn't believe when i read this.....i used to do the EXACT same thing. and i also used to change my font to white and then type to random people "i love so and so" and then i thought they would just think it was blank screen (because i used white font) but they usually ended up decoding it and being like "what the hell". yeah im emberassed to think about my younger years.
haha oops ive done that too... and i didnt know until this FML
haha thats so funny
sounds like something i would do but i know better . . . .
hahahaha! That isn't creepy, it's really cute, assuming that these conversations are from like 7th grade ... Like someone else said, it's just like the digital version of drawing initials in a heart or something. Harmless middle school crushing.
#86 - On 03/29/2009 at 6:24pm by cyxx
That is so damn cute!
And #78 is right. There's nothing creepy about someone being too shy to share their feelings with a crush. You guys all need to calm the fuck down. Now, if she had wrote something really sexually explicit or something else that is completely inappropriate, then yes, it would be creepy. But I love you? Come on. I did the same thing, and I'm certainly not crazy and obsessive, and never have been. It's completely innocent.
#88 - On 03/29/2009 at 6:43pm by bioclock
"Messages you send will be delivered when they sign in. E-mail this contact instead | Add a mobile number for this contact"
-fp-
awh im sorry that sucks.i was new to msn and my cousin signed off, our family's are fueding so i typed in,"your just a stuck up motherfucking bitch" she told my uncle, my uncle told my mom. i got grounded lol
Lol I would go on a date with you just for that, even if I was not that into you .
#90 lolol, now THAT's a minor FML.
Heh, I'll suppose #23 is the OP... This means you don't have to worry, I think offline messages only appeared late 2007.
LOLOL, I used to do that all the time, untill after like the 20th time he finally wrote back.
I was so embarrassed..
hahahhaha so embarrassing!
#15....she said it was OLD messages. Meaning: NOT RECENTLY. Douche.
i used to do the same thing! haha
but i think it was back when they weren't sent unless the recipient was online.
i sure hope so at least...
#98 - On 03/29/2009 at 11:17pm by iowanianfuck
Just pretend you do it all the time
HHAHAHHA that makes me laugh
HAH thats too hilarious. my older brother used to send "i love you" messages to everyone on my buddy list on AIM whenever i left the computer. i thought it was the end of the world
that is so cute...
i hope i can love some1 like you ahaha im heartbroken now
Oh god. That is so embarrassing. I feel for you.
thats so weird.
why would you even do that? =P
just type it - don't send it hahahah
#3 how is that worse? i believe "psycho stalker" is worse than "perverted sexaholic" but thats just me
and yeah, you're a creepy psycho stalker...
but look on the bright side, he/she didnt stop talking to you
How do you look at old msn conversations? I didn't know you could do that?!
hilarious fmy/ydi though :D
lmao! thats amazing.
must have thought u were psycho
This is only creepy if the OP is over the age of 18....Kids do all sorts of cutesy, stupid things when puppy love strikes...but the amount of strangeness you can get away with sorta of dwindles with age
#112 - On 03/30/2009 at 9:52pm by MKC
AHHAHAHAH THATS HILARIOUS
haha ouch, did he ever say anything back?
Haha, I did the same thing with this chick a couple of weeks ago and wrote 'I want to fuck you' I then realised what I'd done, so I wrote 'I want to fuck myself' and then 'La la la la la la' to cover my arse and make it sound like I was being random. PHEW!
whoaaa. that's actually so creepy..
But #`15 took that much too far.
holy hell, it got me thinking if I ever did that! There's a chance I did. But I can't remember.. grr, this is seriously messed up xD.
Damn. He must have thought you were crazy or something. Though if he kept talking to you maybe he didn't
awww i think thats cute
i wish my gf would do shit like that
lmaao, :P
#122 - On 04/04/2009 at 1:07am by xBROKEN_SMILE
Aw, that's cute. I don't think it's creepy.
Wow...just...wow.....If someone did that to me....I would never talk to them again....you are a major creeper and he should have gotten a restraining order against you......and to all you girls saying you did the same thing.....notice how you are still single?......now you know why....
a bit creepy, but to be expected from young kids. I'm assuming you were in elementary school. please tell me this wasn't last year.
AHAHAHAHHAHAHHA!
Thats creeppy but he didnt say a thing or didnt block u or anythin so i guess he didnt mindd ;P
That's creepy.. I feel sorry for you though.
#124 is officially an idiot. 'rickya' you're probably the single one... no, better yet VIRGIN lawlz doucher.
he never said anything???
He never said anything?! Well, that's kinda weird. And he never acted weird when he met you?
Maybe he just thought it was spam? xD
Then you're kinda "saved"...
He has to find out somehow. Maybe he took it as you were dropping hints. I think your ok on this one.
That would suck, only if the person didn't like you back...
HAHAHHAH That totally sounds like something I would've done. And I hope I never have. HA
LOOOL . awh, what happened next ?
awww, shit. sucks for you! hahaha. i used to type stuff i wanted to say to my old crushes, and then just delete it before i sent it. but you actually did. XD
aww i think that's cute :)
i wouldn't say it's creepy
it sounds like she was young, and too shy to confess her real feelings
Aw, sounds embarrassing...I'm sorry...but hey, if he didn't say anything about it then, you probably don't have to worry now.
#139 - On 08/03/2009 at 5:28am by damnnnnnn
akward o_O *scoot scoot scoot*
Why do people think its so creppy? What girl doesnt like a guy and write silly love letters and not send them (&etc.) God people are so miopic. >_>
I know how you feel Dx i used to type 'ily; but not hit enter, and once i accidently did hit enter haha
i just said 'wronge chat sorry' xD
lol at least he knows you like him :p
Typing and not sending ftw.
OMG!!! i did the same thing allll the time to my best guy friend. he probably thought i was crazy!!! but then we eventually dated =).. it didnt last too long lol
