Not everyone (especially men) wear wedding rings, maybe because they find them uncomfortable. My father has been married nearly 20 years and doesn't wear one.
A first date does not a relationship make. She can't break up with him if there's nothing to break up.

If she didn't know until after the date, how is she "trying to be a home wrecker"? First dates are where you find out about a person. Unless she stalked him beforehand, or they knew each other for a long time, there's no way she could have known. It's entirely his fault for being MARRIED and asking out another woman.

I disagree completely. You can be the best spouse possible, but your partner might just cheat because they feel like it. It's not always the spouse's fault - and even if it is, you should work on your problems instead of using that time and effort to cheat. It's cowardly, selfish, and pathetic.
That sucks. At least he was honest sooner than most cheaters would be (most wouldn't fess up unless caught) - not that that makes it right.

What gives the husband the right to cheat on his wife? If he thinks he can cheat, then the OP (or absolutely anyone else who knows that the husband is cheating) has the right to tell the wife, and she DEFINITELY has the right to know!
Why does everyone assume the husband is cheating? Maybe he was still married to his wife because divorce is a tedious process. That doesn't mean they're still "together."

At least your date told you he was married. I dated an "amazing" guy for three months before finding out he was married after I found him on facebook. (You wonder how anyone would leave that stuff public, especially if they're cheating on their wife.)
