It's probably because he heard her call her dog by name multiple times - but the dog obviously didn't call hers.
And it was HER crush, not his.
Haha but suck it up. No one can even remember my name, the love of my life, my family (the glass boots my ggrandma painted for me have my name spelled wrong, two out of five names on bday cards were spelled right) my FRIENDS! So as long as SOMEONE can remember it your lucky.

Haha, I had a bunch of neighbors whose names I did not know even though I knew their dogs' names! That's just what happens when you hang out so your dogs can play together. It sucks that he was your crush and didn't remember, though! :(
It's actually fairly normal for doglovers to just know the pets names, there are many people I bump into that I don't know the names of, I only know their pets names. Don't get so worked up over something so simple.
