(0)WTF? hahah. that would be quite annoying, I wouldn't take her.
(0)haha
(0)sucks balls
(+1)That sucks! I'm sorry op! buy a squirt bottle and everytimr she starts to throw a tantrum squirt her. =^_^=
(-2)oooooo I wanna b payed 2 throw a tantrum...too bad I'm 13 ppl wud think I'm mental(not meaning to be rude)
(0)Ahaa yah:)

(+1)Clever sonovabitch! that deserves a steak dinner. XD

(0)She never had a tantrum before the bribery, so I never had a problem taking her to the store before. Now though, anytime she goes with me for the next two months it's only if I absolutely have to go (if my mom can't watch her) and she has to sit in the cart. It's only part of her punishment.
(0)I'm glad your daughter has one parent whose head is on straight. I'm certainly not talking about your ex.
If you have to go back to court for any custody issue or anything else pertaining to your separation and divorce, be sure your attorney, the mediator and/or the judge hear about this.
In the meantime, buy her a toy with a really disgusting, loud sound and make a rule that it goes to her father's house and stays there.
(+2)You should do what my mom di when my little sister threw her first and only tantrum! *she snatched her by her collar and whispered with an undeniable evil "If you scream again I will snatch your soul right out of your body." She never threw another one again.
True story.
(0)well parents only do that out of love, or Satan possesed them for a moment, either waaay funny story
(0)oh hell nooooooo!!!
(0)fucking pathetic, parents using their kids to get back at their spouse.
(0)AAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA THATS CLASSIC IMA HAVE TO REMEMBER TO DO THIS IF I EVER GET A DIVORCE XD
(0)haha he'll yeah
(0)aww I feel kind of bad for her though... her dad sounds like a malnipulative son of a B***h. it sucks when one parent puts the kid at odds with the other parent
(0)Lmfaooo
(-1)It bothers me that people think petty issues like this are worth the utterly devastating act of removing a child from their father or mothers life. This is not grounds for a custody claim.
The father seemingly has a great, close, playful relationship with his child.. that is unless your sensationalistic and dramatic and force yourself to see this as anything more.
(0)Well, I wouldn't try to take away any of his visitation rights because that's not fair to her. Plus it takes A LOT more than him using her to get back at me. You have to prove that a person is an unfit parent in order to get complete custody with no visitations.
(0)I agree with #17 ;) lol
(-1)that's the shit
(-1)well atleast shes going to becomr tich when she grows up
(0)she'll be giving 2$ blowjobs in no time
(+1)is this a new form of child support?
(-1)haha
(-1)nice
(-2)the ex husband is a total genius
(-1)that... is such a damned genius idea. I would hire you to be a nanny if I had kids. I'm so NOT kidding. That Is genius...
(0)tell ur ex to be more mature than that.. how old is he?
(-2)nevermind read your commnt wrong
#9 - On 02/09/2010 at 5:16pm by omgmorganomg
(0)That's why he's your ex-husband...
You need to talk to him.
(0)Hmmm, Id be taking that info into court.
(0)haha parenting fail
(-1)lol no parenting WIN. for the dad. 3 bucks isnt even good enough id charge 10, and do it better =)
(-2)charge your ex for every time you have to waste energy and beat his child in public ;0
(-1)beat his child in public? in 2010? you really are psycho buddy?
(0)yea n while she's at it she cn tell him to pay her bail to!
(-1)sorry, I didn't mean BEAT ;) just spank the kid..... in the face :]
(0)let him take het shopping
#12 - On 02/09/2010 at 5:19pm by EV34
(-2)well the daughter iz making money at a young age. she iz hustling for money. go head grl get dat dough.....:p
$Kid$
(-1)iz dat how u make ur money.. KID?
(0) LMAO!!!
(+1)Seems to me CPS should be informed.
(-1)yea, really! my parents would have beat my ass if I ever did that!
(0)I know right! I got my first beaten the night I was born, I was crying a lot and my mom was tired so she tapped my ass( ;] ) very lightly but enough to shut me up for the night.
(-1)ahahaa that's so funny...
(+2)OK, so make every tantrum worth a $4 penalty.
Next question?
(0)hahahaha yes!!!
(-8)Too many negative votes, comment buried. Show the comment.
all I can say is you must be a bitch for this to happen to you smart kid smart husband stupid ass mother haha
(+2)You're an idiot.
(-1)that made me laugh so hard I almost peed my self
(0) hahahaha thts funny.. but sucks for u
(-9)Too many negative votes, comment buried. Show the comment.
A normal mother would not have those kinds of problems with their kid, because the kid would have acknowledged their superiority. However, the kid is rebelling against you because you are an snobbish, ignorant, and all around unliked person. Just be grateful that your husband provided the proper ways to your child on how she should go about venting her anger and unsatisfaction towards you. This behaviour is common in the lesser species of human beings.
(0)You. are. an. ass. hole.
(+1)I agree with Adrianna17.
(+3)Tell her you will pay $4 if when she is with the father she yells out "Hey, mister, stop touching me there!"
(0)Epic win.
(0)YES! This. Do this. Amazing. :D
(0)Ah, although it's a pretty awesome idea, I'm leaning more towards making sure that she doesn't accept anymore bribes from anyone.
(0)I LOVE YOU.
(0)i'd just tell her you can get the money, but dont mean you have to actually do it. He isn't watching you every second of the day.
and if he is, get him for stalking because that is just creepy
(-1)that is fuckin hilarious ;D
(+1)Money talks, even if you're only five.
Just offer her another dollar for every time she takes money from your ex without actually throwing the tantrums. She'll make bank, and he'll keep paying...for nothing.
Not exactly honest, but honesty is only the best policy when it doesn't stand in the way of sweet revenge.
(0)XD
(-1)Give her five dollars to tell Child Services he hits her. You get even, and she learns a valuable lesson about money getting you anywhere :p
(-1)Hmm I had a comment here explaining a little more, but now it's gone.
My daughter, up until about a month ago has never had a temper tantrum at home, let alone in public. The only reason I even found out about this bribe is because I found a sock under her bed with 15$ in it. I threatened to give it to the little boy next door if she didn't tell me where it came from. She doesn't like the little boy next door and she really doesn't like parting with her money.
(0)*** 18$
Also it appears that my previous comment is back...??
(0)she's gonna grow up to be something all right
(0)If she's 5, where is she putting the money??
(0)In a sock under her bed.
She had 18$.
(0)Wow, just wow OP.
(0)That makes him and asshole, a funny asshole
(-2)y'all are a bunch of dip shits. it's just a harmless prank. you must not have kids of your own. cuz if ya did you'd know that CPS is not something you use just to get back at them. could ruin their life.
(+2)No, you must not have kids. "Cuz if ya did," you'd know that you don't use your child as a pawn to get back at an ex.
1-it's not teaching her good behavior. And bad behavior starts early and can be a hard habit to break at, say, 16.
2-it's immature to put a kid in the middle and make them grow up feeling like they have to choose sides and are nothing but a weapon for their parents' use.
CPS has every right to look into a parent who is treating their kid like a tool instead of a human.
(+3)Except it's not a harmless prank. He's manipulating our daughter to get back at me. Not a very mature thing to do.
And like intoxicunt said, it's not teaching her very good behaviour. She's actually a really good, well behaved kid but it just seems as though her father is trying to undo all of it.
I would never use my daughter like that.
(+1)Wow #50, I really hope you don't have kids.
(0)I really don't believe that CPS would pay any attention to this beyond telling OP to the lawyer she used in the custody negotiations.
(-1)this kids got it made!!! how do I get in on this?
(0)This has been posted before.
#55 - On 02/09/2010 at 7:12pm by Mirequetz
(0)Aw that's cute
The money-saving part, not the tantrum part.
This comment has been moderated.
(+1)Except I didn't do anything to make his life suck, he did that all on his own. ;)
(+1)Give her five dollars to shit on your ex's carpet.
(0)she's a little money maker. You should charge her $2 for every one that way you both make a profit off your ex-husbands idea.
(0)The bounty is $20 when she walks in on you and your new boyfriend.
(+1)Well, ignoring the fact that my fiance is in the NWT right now, locks were made for a reason. :P
(0)He'll train her to pick locks and up it to $20.50. ;)
(0)Two choices: Go back to court to limit visitation and explain why to the judge; never take your daughter with you when you go out in public and explain why to her. She'll catch on and modify her behavior long before the jackass will.
(0)That's part of her punishment, limited outings.
He only gets to see her every other weekend as it is and she loves her dad so I wouldn't want to make it hard on her. Plus he's pretty manipulative so I could see him somehow turning it around on me if I tried to.
(+1)Shoot.. I'll just have to make her bracelets and anklets out of bells for when she is home. ;)
Edit: This was supposed to be in reply to perdix.
(+1)Hey, in_the_dark, I'll make you a deal: Point me to a bar where your ex hangs out. For 5 bucks (US) and all the Diet Cokes I can drink, every time he starts to hit on a girl, I'll walk up to them and say, "Hey, aren't you the guy with the freakishly tiny penis?" (Or any other phrase you pump me with.)
A little pricier than 3 Canadian dollars a tantrum, but well worth it, I should imagine. Do we have a deal?
(0)Hahaha, well.. I already have a large supply of diet coke!
(0)Nice, but bars rarely let you BYODC. Do you like my "phrase that pays" or would you suggest a different one?
(0)Hahaha, I guss you are right.
It's a pretty good phrase, but maybe something that involves using his name might be better, that way, the girl thinks you know him!
Hahaha, as funny as this is though I'm sure he's not even allowed to go to a bar. His new wife is pretty paranoid.. no wonder though.
(+1)ohhhhhh,
Sorry about your little girl, but bribery is the least of your worries. Time to start teaching her about guys.
In this case, tell her that if she wants a new Wii or whatever, she can just tell your ex that either she gets one or she mentions to his new wife about how daddy likes his new girlfriend better.
(+1)OK, in_the_dark, new deal. I didn't know he already married again. This one will set you back, 8 US dollars and I'll help myself to your stash of Diet Cokes.
You give me his name and address, and I will put on a tranny outfit, barge into his house when the hosebag wife is there, and act like a she-male hooker and tell him that I just tested positive for anal warts and he may want to get himself checked out. All for 8 bucks! I'm only doing this because you are an FMLer. Deal?
(0)how about OP outsmart your husband and give your kid more money to do it back to him. he's a dick for that. nothing is more embarassing than out of control kids.
(0)The Bright Side: She has her own money.
(0)one word: payback!
(0)#17 is pure win.
(0)17 made me lol
(0)I have to say that does suck, and I felt bad until I saw that you that you agreed with someone with a username: intoxicunt.. I still feel bad believe me, just not as bad lol. as immature as it may be, I say pay her for each. shoe of his she pees in as already suggested.
(0)and brendenburn stfu about authority or whatever crap your spewing, this is no wolf pack or indian tribe, 5 year olds hardly understand anything like that I'm sure all they care about is toys and cartoons. if she was a teen maybe I could compromise.
(-5)Too many negative votes, comment buried. Show the comment.
nice, on the fathers part, obviouly the mom is the one who wanted the devorce. SHE DESERVED IT. for being unfaithful to her husband after swearing to live with him in good, and bad till the day they die.
(0)Actually he asked me for a divorce because he wanted to marry his co-worker that he'd been sleeping with for almost two years. He asked for it when our daughter was 18 months old and I was 6 months pregnant with our son.
(0)That's awful OP. :(
Glad you got rid of that Pig.
(0)kick his ass
(0)Three dollars?....suckerrrrr.
(-1)FIRST WORST FIANCE EVER....BRIBING A KID TO STOP TANTRUMS IS WRONG...HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONTROL A FIVE YEAR OLD...SECOND YOU SHOULD MAKE THE KID UNDERSTAND WHOS BOSS...OR ELSE she WILL be EXPECTING
MONEY EVERY TIME YOU GO OUT...SRY OP BUT TELL FIANCE THAYS THE WRONG WAY TO BRING UP A CHILD...HE SHOILD ACT MATURE
(0)Whaaa???
My fiance isn't bribing my daughter when she has temper tantrums.. My ex husband is paying her to have them, well WAS paying her.
(+1)What a douche bag. I can't believe how terrible people are that they would use their kids against each other to fight their battles for them. In divorce the kid will always end up in the middle no matter what, but if you care about them more than yourself than you should do your best to show each other respect for their sake, because otherwise you are setting them up for a lot of hurt.
(0)Trust me, that's not even the worst thing he has done. She came home one Sunday evening and asked me what 'slup'(slut) and bitch meant. When I asked her where she had heard those words, she said that her father and Tara (ex's new wife) had called me those names. I was appalled that they said that in front of my daughter, especially since I absolutely refuse to speak ill of either of them to my daughter or son. I don't even speak ill of them when my children are in bed or in another room because I don't want them overhearing it.
It saddens me that he feels the need to try to turn my kids against me, but I have a feeling a lot of it is coming from his new wife, as she makes it quite obvious that she hates me.
(+1)You really need to report this to the court.
(0)hahaha priceles
(0)I'm sorry to hear that OP. Hope you find a way to deal with it. It sounds like a very bad situation.
(0)this is awesome...lol
(0)my dad use to do the same to my brother.. all i can say is its very bad for development
(0)your ex husband sounds like an asshole!!
(0)i would like to shove a toaster up his/her vigina/butt
(0)That really sucks... But Its hilarious.. So something my ex would have done.. But It still sucks..
(0)your ex is a genius!!
(0)I'm shocked nobody suggested this yet:
LET HER HAVE TANTRUMS.
Don't punish her, take her out as often as you can, and let her have 10 tantrums a day. See if he can keep up.
(0)YO you know your life got problems when your five year old is getting paid to throw tantrums for real
(0)We'd been together for over ten years and he wasn't an asshole. Actually, his change pretty much DID happen overnight, pretty much right after his best friend died.
Maybe you shouldn't act like you know everything when you only know part of the story. ;)
(0)OP, you should teach your daughter to use words such as "selfish, immature, childish, pathetic" ect, in conjunction with her father's name, in his presence. When he demands to know why his little girl called him childish, or immature, inform him that his little scheme is up. Also, inform him, that she is being punished, thanks to him, because he is teaching her naughty behaviour.
If he is going to be a shitty parent, you are going to have to be twice the parent. Inform him you are not going to let him ruin the hard work you have put into making her a polite, mannerful little girl.
(0)wow. my psych class was discussing about this exact situation!
(0)... Exactly how did he know when she was throwing tantrums? o.O Does he just take her word for it or is he a stalker or something? Either way, I can see why your divorced.
(0)Pay her $5 dollars for every time she is out with him and yells, "Stop touching me there!"
(0)that def sucks but I still find it hilarious.
#130 - On 02/10/2010 at 1:22pm by Beagle96
(0)Fighting bribes with more bribes works =D
(-1)Lady, you have problems. I never threw tantrums, my parents would have beat my ass if I did that. You should be able to control a 5 year old.
Furthermore, your exhusband is a genius. Total win on his part.
(0)i cannot believe what a horrible comment you made. you sound like you must be storing up all those tantrums to therefore spread to others as an adult in the form of mean comments. time to grow up and learn a little bit about parenting. the best way to teach is to lead by example. forcing a child to stop throwing a tantrum is not effective. perhaps your next comment will also lead by a better example of kind humanity... no?
(0)Haha. That's an awesome prank. Reciprocate with an equally awesome prank.
(0)i like this idea, except it is using your child to manipulate their parents. break the chain and do not use your child to attack your ex... your child will learn, eventually, from your actions.. the best way to teach is to lead by example. take the higher ground... your child will benefit from this for the rest of their life! ♥
(+1)Have you approached the father about this? Not calling your daughter a liar, but maybe you should confront him about this and see if he admits to it, if it is true, or maybe if your daughter is around his new wife and she detests you, maybe she told your daughter "dad would pay her for throwing tantrums". Either way, point out how it is corrupting your daughter. If he really wants the best for her, he should understand, and if he doesn't, or more incidents like this arise, you really should consider if it should be allowed that they visit, or change arrangements so he must have supervised visits, because if he doesn't have her well-being in mind then he is a poor father and should not be allowed to have visits/custody. Even if it punishes her because she loves him, well it's something she will have to deal with and understand that when people are dishonest and manipulative, it hurts other people too.
(+1)I agree with you, 136. This really needs to be reported to the courts. Moreover, its an excellent reason for him to lose some of his visitation rights, if he really is behind it.
(0)pay her 5 for everytime she switches estrogen pills with his vitamines - that would ruin his musckles right? or poke holes in his condoms?? no no that's too far
(0)haha
(0)wow. wonderful parenting skills he has. out to raise another model citizen. more like fml and everyone elses
(0)In-the-dark am glad you handeling things resposeibile and showing great sportmanship and being a cool person who didnt react to some of the retarded know it all comments. <.<...>.> ... after perdix deal if you pay me $4 and a box of candy. I could show up at your Ex home and let his wife know that not only has he been with a tranny but he's been with me on those missing nights at my BDSM club being my little pig and ill babysit your daughter on weekends for free( its optional) :D
(0)Where do I sign up to buy this man a drink? FYL.. but really I want to buy him a drink... priceless!
(0)now I see why u divorced him!!!

(+1)op, if u hv evidence to prove it, u can drag his ass to a family court. he's not only antagonizing you, he's fucking with the kid's mind.
(0)WTF? thts funny as he'll call ur lawyer DIVORCE!
