Today, my 9 year old niece asked me if I was a virgin. I told her, "Yes, I'm saving myself until marriage". She replied, "That's a load of bullshit, you just can't get a guy!" Sadly, she's right. FML

#148 what makes u think she was unattractive? just cuz she cant get a guy doesnt mean shes unattractive... stupid

Yea she's not only unattractive, but ******* hideous if NOBODY wants her...

CaiDog 20

Yeah, should've just not given her a reason unless she asked. YDI for lying.

saralyyn 0

#69 has a point, don't give goddamn reasons unless they ask for them.

Can't lie to kids? Tell that to Santa. Oh, wait, you can't because he's a lie told to kids.

I hate it when people will say they are waiting for marrige to give up the V-card when in reality they can't find somebody to screw them. YDI.

Well there are some people who say that because they ACTUALLY want to wait until marriage.....apparently the OP isn't one of them, though...lol

I stayed a virgin until I dated my husband, and it was because I wanted to wait. Well, lol, I wanted to wait till marriage, but at least I tried! So some people do want to wait. To the OP, don't worry, your day will come (and it will most likely hurt). Till then, FYL.

actually it means original poster.

ight, thnx. but i fail to see y with lol, lmfao, fml, mlia, rofl, stfu, and all the other amazing abbreviations we have that the best we as society could come up with for the author of a post is OP. that's jst lame if u ask me.

So ight, thnx, y, jst and u are okay but those you just mentioned are not. Well you make a lot of sense. Not to mention your horrible grammar.

or maybe they just don't want to throw it away on some low life it's hard to find someone right for you

I'm catholic so I'm waiting for my honeymoon ;)

Lmao right! I didn't know till like 5min ago, apparently it's original poster. ******* dumb overused word that always makes me think of the andy griffith show.

I hate it when people say they dint believe in waiting for marriage or the right person before losing their v, so they have to bring anyone else down who says they want to wait...eat shit.

Unless your fat or super ugly it shouldn't be a problem. Just ask a guy out instead of waiting.

Exactly, i hate how chicks think if a guy doesn't ask them out they're undatable. Don't wait, ASK! for gods sake. It's not just the guys job

Agreed! I also despise how girls think it's against some law that you can't ask a guy out. I mean really. But hey whatever. You have no sympathy from me OP. YDI.

#37..I really really love you right now haha. Exactly for god's sake don't always leave it up to us some of us are shy or we just don't wanna risk having to lose the girl as a friend, but from what I have noticed if the girl initiates it the guy is always willing to go back to being friends. That's how my last GF got me she came up to me and said "Since we are eye ******* each other do you mind if I at least get your name" god I love her haha.

Seriously! Some guys are pretty clueless. I'd been flirting with my boyfriend for months before I finally asked him out. Then, a few months in, he admitted to me that he'd had a crush on me for a long time, but never thought I'd feel the same way. And here I was thinking I'd been obvious!

#37, you are totally right. a lot of guys, including me, wouldn't mind being asked out instead of always having to be the asker.

The thing I hate about women and their "flirting" is that they consider taking the first step to be something subtle that whomever they are attempting to court will immediately notice and find attractive, to the point of asking them out. "I got a spiral perm at the salon" and "I got my nails done" do not count as a first step. Nobody. *******. Cares. I hear this shit from some of my female friends a lot of the time. It is bullshit-actually get off your ass and do something. I don't know about the rest of you, but I find someone who can have an intelligent conversation much more attractive than someone who has sparkly nails and some eyeliner. YDI op, any non-overweight girl can get a boyfriend if they TAKE INITIATIVE.

I know from first-hand experience that you have to make the first move sometimes cuz guys won't. This guy I was talking to knew I liked him and liked me back but was too nervous to do anything about it and I waited too long and he decided he didn't like me anymore so.... Moral of the story is, don't worry about asking a guy out. The worst he can do is say no.

#61- Actually, intelligent women flirt too. And we do it better. Wit is key to successful flirting, I find. Being able to articulate an informed opinion on foreign policy is great, but being able to make a man (or another girl, if that's what you're into) laugh while throwing in a subtle compliment or two can be just as good in the right situation. And to be honest, I'm not sure what you think sparkly nails or eyeliner have to do with flirting, at all.

Who knows, some girls thinks it's wrong for them to ask and expect the boys to ask them like it's a stupid romance movie. Literally, personally as a girl, I think some other girls are too expecting on these kind of things. I think they should get their head out of their stupid fantasizing head and actually do something about it, otherwise their opportunities would slip.

Why so much hate for the chubby ladies? Most of the population of North America is about 25 lbs heavier than they were 20 years ago. There's someone for everyone, no need to be nasty. A warm smile and sincere personality can go a long way for everyone, not just those "non-overweight" you guys are so careful to point out. Hell, some guys even like their ladies fluffier; some are indifferent; and some feel more comfortable with an average looking person than a supermodel. Look at most couples that walk by you in a big city. Look at your parents even. They all found love, even though the average couple is just average looking. You guys are so harsh on people reading your comments, for no particular reason. There's hope for everybody. People just need to give themselves a chance.

61, I hate to burst your bubble, but those women weren't flirting with you. Simply telling someone about your day is not flirtatious.

That's the thing about kids. If they've heard it, they'll say it, and they hear more than you think they do.
