The point of charicatures is NOT to emphasize your "flaws", but any part of your face and body that's especially distinguishing. I've done jobs before where I drew caricatures of people and trust me, unless you don't value your job you're not going to draw anything people will be particularly sensitive about. Big ears/nose/lips are one thing, but say giving someone a ton of pimples or making them look grotesquely obese is another thing. Basically most caricature artists will never do public drawings that poke at weight/acne/anything sexual/etc. unless they're drawing celebrities who will never talk to them anyway.

So unless the OP has a pretty disfigured face due to acne or is exaggerating how the artist drew her face, I'm surprised the artist did so.
