The OP can't be more than 14, who IMs after that age? Therefore, why would the OP be researching genital warts? Then, why would the OP have highlighted and copied the whole article in the first place? Lastly, how do you accidently press ctrl-v and enter in quick succession accidently and without realizing it? This seems like a very unlikely course of events...

This kinda happened to me, I was texting by ICQ with my crush, pressed shift to type capital V and accidentally pressed ctrl. I sent it because I don't often look at what I've typed. Thank God there was only the name of song I was googling copied.

In my experience, I think people have pretty much moved on from YIM, and I remember it having a limit... of course last time I used it was last year or so, so I might be wrong now. I've not used AIM in about a million years so I just guessed on how much you could send on it.

That's why I always stop myself and look before pressing enter.
Although, if I write something that's too long (like, article length) it doesn't send because it's too long. I suppose it depends what client you're using, though.
This could be real. Just because you probably won't make the same mistake doesn't make it fake.
Maybe he was doing a report and copied the article and was putting it in Word and accidentally sent it to the girl.
Most times over IM people send links to each other or things other people say so they hit contol V and enter. It's not impossible to hit them at the same time. Most of the time it's just by habit

I sometimes totally automatically click OK buttons on dialog boxes. Sometimes I hit keys, such as ^O when I meant ^S (bad nano habit), and I get an Open File dialog box when I wanted to save. That was very confusing the first time it happened, let me tell you ;-)
OTOH, I don't usually accidentally press Enter. Enter is a key with Potentially Grave Consequences. That's why I wanted a keyboard with a big fat (double row) Enter key, of course...
