Today, I took a test as part of a job requirement. I took a sip from a bottle of juice, and the lady leading the test gave me a warning. I tried to explain that if I didn't, I would faint. She took the bottle and hid it. 15 minutes later I collapsed. She thought I was faking. I'm hypoglycemic. FML

Wow. One on hand, you really should have said "I'm hypoglycemic," instead of just saying that you would faint. But on the other.. Taking juice away on a job test from somebody that claims that they'd faint... She should be getting in trouble for that. Hope you got the job!

People can't help being hypoglycemic, asshole. And you fail for replying to the first person just to get on top.

I would have sued if i didn't get the job.

#'s 1 & 2 obviously haven't the slightest idea why hypoglycemia is and probably should have kept their mouths shut on this one. Sorry that happened OP, bitch her out for it when you find her.

She might have said she is, but just worded it different on FML. I don't think she said "Don't take that, I'll faint!"

Hypoglycemic or not, it does sound a bit odd to forbid drinks such as juice while doing any test....

People have probably written answers on bottles they bring before. It's an understandable restriction, but in this case it could have been ignored.

what a bitch : / did you have a medic alert bracelet or anything as proof?

Medic Alert bracelet? O.o they use that Yes I'm serious cause I never once see someone wear one [expect for tv]

Expensive? Not really; I have several that vary in cost between $3 and $25. You don't need to buy a gold plated medical bracelet or necklace. There are plenty of cheaper options out there.

#5, being hypoglycemic isn't one of those things that you get a bracelet for, usually because you can manage it by eating/drinking.

it depends on the type of diabetes. type 2 diabetes is usually managed by diet, exercise, and sometimes a pill. people with type 1 diabetes, however, experience blood glucose levels that fluxuate much easier, and most are advised to wear something like a medic alert bracelet. my mom and uncle both have type 1 diabetes and they both wear medic alert bracelets.

You don't have to be diabetic to be hypoglycemic...

Well, it's not really her fault cause you COULD have been faking, nonetheless FYL

Complain about her! You might get the job or at least a second chance ^_^

Why didn't you get more likes in the 5 years that passed? Your comment deserves to be disliked well and truly

AGAIN with these "I fainted", "got a concussion" "got knocked out" "collapsed" stories, **** people. If it's true, then wow that sucks. But if not, the mods need to get better stories.
