Today, someone at my college made a Twitter page where rape survivors name the people who raped them. A violent stalker who harassed me until I was suicidal posted a lie about me. I was sent hate mail, and some friends refuse to talk to me. I confronted him and he admitted it was a lie. No one believes me. FML

This is exactly why pages like that are a bad idea. Your life has been ruined over a lie, how many others are in the same boat? I’m NOT saying that only lies have been posted on that board, but at least a few have been. Unfortunately Rape accusations NEVER go away even when the person is proven innocent. You need to talk to police about the situation, or at least a solicitor or lawyer.
