Today, on a nature hike, covered in poison oak rashes from the day before, I accidentally stepped on a hornets' nest. I'm now covered in hornet stings and I can't scratch the poison oak because I might accidentally touch the stings. FML

Hey there! OP here. I am completely alive and well although I have developed a hatred for hornets. On the plus side, I did get a pretty badass nickname! - Hornet Bait (RHChiliPeppers)

Well you aren't supposed to scratch poison oak anyways right?

All we hope now is that Mother Nature doesn't attack you again In some way

I'm not sure if they'll recommend it now that you've been stung, but if you go to your doctor, you may be able to get prescription strength hydrocortisone. The stuff you get at the store is way too weak for poison oak. If not, Benadryl is your friend to at least help with the itch and it may even put you to sleep so you won't notice the misery.

Can we get a follow up to make sure you didn't die after posting this.

You have to DEVELOP a hatred for those little assholes?

1 cup oatmeal half cup baking soda in a warm bath soothes irritable skin. I'm allergic to a lot of random things and this help a lot.

Be careful. I hope you make a speedy recovery!

why would you go hiking with a rash? :0
