Today, my teenage daughter tried to convince me that the UK is a part of Canada. After I pulled out a map to prove her wrong, she got all angry and defensive, and said that nobody's perfect at "geometry". My daughter is an idiot. FML

As long as she is hot, she will still succeed in life. All good. :)

I do believe that's what she just did. If the girl is educated in the public school system, I'm certainly not surprised at her vast "stupidity."

So many people are overlooking the fact that the child A) Seems to think it's simply acceptable not to care, because nobody is "perfect", and B) referred to "Geography" as "Geometry." In response to a few other comments, it would seem that failure is in fact not teaching her humility, and is in fact only causing her to reject knowledge simply on the grounds that it doesn't matter, in her eyes. I would bet quite a bit of money on the fact that the girl is enlisted in the public school system.

Are you really planning on putting "I am not a genius!" on her tombstone?

Sounds like Hayley from Modern Family
