Today, I was in the ER where I work as a registrar. A patient received a plastic urinal to use in his room. Most patients throw them away when they leave. He, however, decided to take it with him, and as he checked out, put it on the registration counter. Two feet from my face. It was used. FML

That piss pot will come in handy...I've had to stand in line for hours checking in to a hospital!!

How exactly is this an FML? You didn't have anproblem accident publicly or get humiliated, and if that's the worst thing you've seen...well good luck in life. Get a pair of gloves and dispose if it.

I'm guessing it was a form of protest stemming from the fact that the hospital probably charged $100 for it. Sorry you were on the receiving end, though.

A. If you work in an ER, that is probably not even close to the grossest thing you've dealt with. B. ER are kept extremely clean, well, at least the ones I've work in.

You shouldnt have told him to throw it away after he was done..
