Today, I thought I'd wear my snow boots so I wouldn't slip on the ice at work. I crashed my car because I can't feel the pedals with my boots on. FML

Today, I stepped out of my car and slipped on a fresh coating of ice on the ground. I tried to catch myself by grabbing the car on my way down, but unfortunately, I was trying to grab with the hand that was holding my car keys. I key-scratched my own car. FML

Today, I walked to the end of my driveway to pick up the newspaper. I read the front page that was talking about people who have been getting hurt from slipping on ice. Laughing about that thought and walking up my driveway, I slipped. FML

Today, I tried to walk on the sidewalk. Actually, it was so slippery that I had to shimmy across it. Then I shimmied too quickly and fell down. Now everything hurts. Maybe next time I should bring a sled. FML

Today, I went on a hike. It had snowed the night before so I wore warm clothes. They didn’t help when I slipped and broke my leg. FML

Today, I had a bad feeling about walking to work because of the weather. Instead, I drove. My car slid on the ice and I created a four-car pile up. All three of the other people involved have decided to sue me. I should've walked. FML

Today, I slid on ice and hit another car while driving to work. My car was totalled, and my leg hurt, while the other car had very little damage. Not two minutes later, the salt truck drove by, spraying the road. FML

Today, I laced up my fabulous new boots and walked outside to find my hot neighbor, with whom I carpool every morning. I struck a pose, feeling quite confident. Upon taking my first step down the stairs, I fell forward. I woke up an hour later with 7 stitches in my head. FML

haha. Once I was driving through a burger king and my boot's buckle got cozy with the gas pedal and since I had just started being comfortable driving hilarity ensued. Needless to say they got a nice chuckle at me attacking their trash can. Luckily nothing but my fender and pride got hurt. That's when I started making sure my shoes were appropriate to drive in.

Ha ACTUALLY I can relate to this person. But instead the toe of my snowboots are too big and get stuck between the brake pedal and the side above the gas, so sometimes I can't get my foot out to brake quick, it's nerve-wracking. And I gotta also say, I'm very tall, I have long legs, it's more of a hassle to change my shoes and get out in snowy Michigan because I just don't have the leg room whatsoever.. Could I wear different shoes? Why yes, but I choose not to because what's the point of having my boots for snow in the first place. So unlike everybody else here, I feel your pain, FYL. Hope I don't get in an accident lol :)
