Today, I got a tattoo with my boyfriend's name on it. As we're coworkers, I showed it to him thinking he’d love it. He told me he couldn’t continue the relationship anymore since he realized he wants to fix things with his wife. Three hours of pain and 2 years down the drain. FML

Today, I got piss drunk. Being a tattoo artist, I came to the intoxicated conclusion that I could save much more money doing my own tattoos on myself. I now have my ex-boyfriend's name permanently on my thigh. It's not even spelled right. FML

Today on my birthday, my wife thought it would be a good idea to get matching tattoos. Our tattoo artist happened to be her ex-boyfriend. I sat and listened to them talk about their relationship and how they should stay in touch. FML

well, my cousin named her baby after her hubbie and got a tattoo of his name. technically, the baby's name (timikol) so even if they do divorce, it's technically the baby's nam.

that is why you never get a tattoo symbolizing a relationship on you. it's like a curse. once you got that tattoo your relationship was doomed to fail. #14 the person does deserve it because, the person was an idiot for putting it on there in the first place. seems these days no one thinks before they get a tattoo on their body.

If the OP's marriage was going great at the time, I see nothing wrong with them getting a tatoo. How were they supposed to know that it would end up in a divorce? I'm not a tattoo person, but I really don't see anything wrong with getting your spouses name tattooed on you. Unless you somehow knew you would end up divorced? Anyway, good luck finding somebody else to share your life with. Oh, and I agree with #14.
