Hey, you do know that it's maths teacher over here in the U.K? cause it's shortened from Mathematics to Maths. According to your logic, you all spell Mum wrong, as well as colour and shit like that, so deal with it m'kay, and just remember, American English is based off of English ;)

A) The math/maths issue has been thoroughly remarked upon, "corrected", and explained in dozens of posts before yours. B) If you're going to correct someone, be correct yourself. I'm baffled that you would use quotation marks correctly once, then neglect to do so again in favor of parentheses.
