I wouldn't go as far as to telling you you're nasty, because most women experience something similar at one point (or sometimes several points) in their life, but I do wonder how you didn't notice this earlier. I once had some ingrown hair down there and noticed pretty much immediately. Of course, that might've been because mine was right there where the thighs and crotch meet, meaning they got irritated extremely easily, but still. You should keep up with your personal bits a little bit more. Personal hygiene, while most likely not contributing to you having the boil, does ensure you NOTICE something funky is going on down there. You don't deserve it by any means, but do check your privates for this kind of stuff. Also, FYL for having your boyfriend find it. I bet that was humiliating. I hope he's not a douchebag and wasn't mean about it.

Ow. I hate getting ingrown hairs cause they're a pain to dig out, and sometimes they do get infected if I don't get all of them. But never that bad. Always really small. I hope that you got it taken care of dear.
