you can get that from stress. if you had chicken pox as a kid the scabies virus is already in you. it just takes excessive stress to trigger it.

You may be thinking of shingles, which is possible to get if you had chicken pox. They are both caused by the herpes zoster virus. Scabies is an infestation of mites, not a virus, as other posters have commented.

Having scabies has nothing to do with being neat and clean. You can literally get them from standing next to someone at the grocery store.
