Today, as a condominium security guard, I had to enter an old lady's apartment to supervise the mandatory maintenance taking place inside. I commented on the lakeside view from her window and mentioned, "This is a pretty nice view up here isn't it?" It turns out that she's blind. FML

Not really your fault you were just trying to make small talk.

I'm sure that she is confronted with that situation a lot, OP. I bet that she just brushed it off. Ever see when Ryan Seacrest tried to high five a blind guy?

I guess the nice view is used to entertain her guest!

Someone should have told you that she was blind! It wasn't your fault!

I'm assuming she was walking around the condo without her stick? No sun glasses?

"Really?!?? Then, why do we just move you down into the basement?"

She may be blind but she has other senses too. Enough to enjoy a lakeside view! Shit happens. You were only being polite and making conversation. I doubt she was offended by it.

On the plus side, she probably didn't notice you robbing her blind if you are like my maintenance people.

Who sells a blind woman the condo with the best view? Seriously.

I would've felt so guilty, I would've apologized like20 times. I'm sorry I'm a bitch, I'm sorry I'm a bitch...

Condominiums? I never use them.
