Nice neighborhood

Today, I was mowing the lawn of my brand new house, located in a very nice neighborhood, when a lady in her nice white cadillac drove up and asked me, in extremely broken Spanish, if I could mow her lawn too. I'm a hispanic guy. FML

You should have said yes and then wrote "**** You" across her lane with the lawn mower.

A snapy comeback in English would have been perfect.. then it would be her FML, not yours.

hey, #16: not everyone that supported mccain was an ignorant racist. thanks for the generalization though. and yeah, you should have just replied in english, which is more than likely much better than her own.

"Today, I was driving home and I saw a Mexican man mowing a lawn. I asked him if he could mow mine, too. He lives here. FML" You know it'd be awesome.

To the people saying it's not racist... How is someone assuming a Hispanic person mowing a lawn speaks only Spanish AND is working there NOT racist? If you assume someone is no-English-working-person just because of their skin color, you're being racist. Now, if she had said, "Oh wow, you do a really good job with that lawn... would you be able to do mine if I paid you?" that would be different. Even if she started by "Sorry to bother you, but do you speak English?" Eh... Sucks.

About the McCain comment: Wtf? I supported McCain, and I hated how people said it was "racist" not to support Obama. I don't know one black person that didn't vote for Obama JUST BECAUSE HE WAS BLACK. It's a two way street... And no, I'm not racist.. at all. About the fml: lol. You should've said "Is this how you welcome your new neighbor?" lol@ 91

I've heard that joke before several times.
