Today, I found out my girlfriend talks to around 18 other men for fun. She says she loves me more, but I told her to prove it, so I took her phone and deleted the social media accounts that she made just for these men. Now I'm a "toxic controlling monster" because I don't let her chat with random men. FML

Today, I found out my girlfriend is talking to some guy from across the country. When I ask about it, she claims, "Oh he's just a friend, and won't talk to him anymore." Now she's doing it secretly and deleting messages. She has kids, and I care for them and her, but I don't know what to do. FML

She then showed me a demonstration of what will happen if I contact her again, with a photo she got from her Facebook, gasoline, and a match to “make sure we understand each other.” FML

Well, she's right : she's an adult, she can talk to whoever she wants and being your girlfriend doesn't mean she can't talk with other guys and have friends (don't you talk with women other than your girlfriend?). You don't give any details about what she talked about with these guys. If it's of a romantic / sexual nature, breaking up seems advisable. If it's not, just suck it up and try to find friends or hobbies of your own.

Well, it pretty much shows that you don’t trust her. You should’ve had her delete them OR trust that nothing is going on. I understand how her actions are portrayed as emotional cheating. If she doesn’t seem to understand why you want her loyalty then Get out!

Making random accounts just to talk to men is very weird. However, you shouldn’t have to delete the stuff. If she doesn’t understand that her actions make you uncomfortable, she’s not the one for you. This is basic common sense

Been there, not worth it. My ex told everyone I was a controlling manipulator because I got mad at her for cheating and told her I was gonna end it if she didn’t stop (I know I know, but first girlfriend, didn’t realize what a mistake it was lol) and then got mad at me for breaking up with her when she kept cheating
