Today, my dad explained to me the "chain of command" for our house. McKinley, Mom, himself, Charlie, then me. McKinley is my two year old daughter and Charlie is the dog. He was dead serious. FML

Parents, quit giving your kids shitty names. Seriously. McKinley is a SURNAME, not a FIRST NAME. Come on. I understand that you think your child is unique and precious or whatever and you need to give them a name that celebrates their uniqueness, but get real. Also, enjoy having your kid come home from school every day in tears because the kids take the shit out of her every day over a name. Been there, done that.

As for the FML, move out. Problem's kaput. Can't afford your own place yet? Looks like you're putting up with your parents until you grow up, champ.
